It's me OBNW - Honest!
Something strange is happening to me though. Never been one fore really planning ahead and never had that real urge to cook. Now since Friday I have been planning and calculating and had this real desire to cook. Made soup over the weekend, with more planned for later this week / weekend and bought loads of cooking goodies to make flapjacks (unfortunately I forgot the oats :rotfl:). And over the weekend I suddenly had a desire to clean. Maybe its my age and some form of nesting instinct kicking in? Whatever it is, I am finding it a little unnerving!
Hi LT! Hope you are well? See you are still storming along with your debt-busting! The whole BT thing is a bit annoying, but I'm sure some offers will come way at some point and I'll take full advantage of them!
Right, off to do some [STRIKE]reading of diaries[/STRIKE].....WORK!

Right, can't believe its only Tuesday! This week is going soooo slowly!
Ok, so I have set myself a mini-challenge. As of this moment in time, I have £20.83 in my purse - and its going to last me until Friday! I do need diesel either tonight or tomorrow so that will be £10.00, leaving me with £10.83 (good at maths aren't I? lol) Still managing to bring lunch from home every day, so challange should be ok!
Oh, bought oats at lunchtime - so will start making flapjacks this evening.... gotta be cheaper than buying cereal bars for a snack!
Hope everyone is ok?
ps, OBNW... suddenly remembered that you are partial to a Margerhita - there's one on the bar for you! Quick before it warms up! lolstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Ooooh LT - Would you like my 'something strange'? Its scaring me! Last night, made said flapjacks - turned out alright (even if I do say so myself!) Tidied the kitchen, washed up after dinner (usually a real slob and as we tend to eat quite late leave it til the next day!), cleaned the bathroom and dusted the lounge. I am really not sure what is happening, but my OH likes it! lol
Right, off to do some work.

Hi All! Hope everyone is having a good day? We had a bit of snow/sleet here this morning - but now raining and snow is virtually non-existant (saying that, my estate has soo much ice on it, it might be afer to get some ice-skates to get to the main road and leave my car there!)
Ok, so my mini challenge.... £16.20 left in my purse with diesel still to buy. OH decided he wanted spag-bol last night and as we didn't have any mince, I had to get some on my way home along with mushrooms and garlic bread. Couldn't be bothered to make my own as I was on a flapjack mission!) Diesel will need to be bought on my way home tonight, giving me £6.20 to get me through tomorrow! Should be ok as I don't think we need anything.
Made flapjacks - they were yummy, but should have melted the sugar in the butter for longer..... am not the most patient person in the world, so kinda thought "s*d it, that will do!" Lesson learned though as there were crunchy bits in it - not horrible, just not as smooth as it could have been!
So that is it from me for now..... oh, am going to pay off the balance of my HSBC OD tonight! YAY. Was going to wait until my mobile bill should have gone out, but realised today (obviously a little slow on the uptake!) that my HSBC OD is costing me interest and my A&L one isn't!! So its going to be 'bye bye HSBC OD' tonight!

Morning all! (am writing early today as I really need to get on with some work today and not spend the large majority of my working day on here - although it is much better for the soul! lol)
Right, so last night raided the freezer and managed to produce a rather edible sweet and sour chicken/prawn dish with basmati rice - it was ok! The freezer is getting a little low though, so this weeks shop will be a bit bigger - loads of stuff to batch cook now I have some more freezeable containers!
Nearly forgot about transfering money to clear my HSBC OD - so at quarter to eleven last night and paid £21.00 in thinking that the balance was -£20.73 and the odd pence would take care of some of the interest charge. But this morning, I realised that my balance was -£22.73, so there is still -£1.73 on there! I will clear that at lunch time!
Have bought lunch in from home - and will be treating my fellow colleagues with samples of my flapjacks!!
Mini challenge update!
Purse total now stands at £2.53. Popped into the pub on my way home last night to try and get some info about a trip they are planning and ended up buying a drink for me (slimline tonic) and OH (Fosters). Only thing I might need to buy today is some cigarettes - will have to be a pack of 10 if I do! :rotfl:
Right, off to work I go - have a good day all! xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Hi All!!! (I'm back again - I have been working....honest!)
Please check out my signature!!! HSBC OD.... has gone!! YAY
Now I just need to focus on overpaying my loan (see earlier post for explanation..... basically once paid it releases the largest amount of money!!!)
No snow left here - just the odd patch of ice and snow! :O(start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
