Morning everyone :hello:
Well Im working from home again today so I get to eat properly as I still havent quite managed to get everything ready the night before for work and for my SC but Im sure it will come in time LOL
So for breakie Im going to have toast and jam (not homemade, Im still a newbie to all this)
Lunch - After reading the posached egg thread I really want that but I have some ham in the fridge that needs to be used so its a sandiwch for me.
Dinner - Ive put braising steak in my SC, this is very adventurous for me, ive never cooked this beforeIve put onions at the bottom, a bay leaf and covered the meat with a little water with an oxo cube in it - do i need to add anything else? Someone mentioned stout? But that would mean I have to leave the house and go shopping LOL I love working from home in my pj's, i dont get the chance very often so i have to make the most of it.
Last night I was debating whether I should invest in a few new cook books or notA bread making one for my bread maker as Ive had it 6 years and its been put to the back of a cupboard for 5 1/2 of them as I coulnt get a nice loaf out of it, a slow cooker one and a home made soup one - is it worth it? Any recommendations?
Anyway, I best get back to work LOL
Have a great day everyone

Morning all
(((hugs)))) to all who had a bad night, & also to those facing exams!
A nice day today, so washing is out on line. Washing up is done & put away, vacuuming done, too.
Exercise routine done this morning. Ancasta, I am so impressed with your weight loss. How did you do it?
I have been going through craft magazines looking for something different to do now that the Christmas crocheting & knitting scarves session is over. Actually I could look at those mags for ages & never get round to actually making anything!!!

What an excellent idea!
Well I've managed to wash (or rather the WM did) the bath mat that one of the cats peed on during the night and it's now hanging out to dry. What a beautiful day it is here too - blue sky and sun is shining... think I might just go sit in the garden with my :coffee: for the rest of the morning :rotfl:
I've decided to leave any drilling until DS is home from school so he can hold the hoover nozzle underneath to catch the dust as I hate it when it gets everywhere. Right, time to go re-organise the kitchen cupboards so I can fit everything in, although I've no idea where I'm going to put the 20 bags of bread flour that Tesco delivered last night
Well done with the Ikea bargains Glad :T"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Morning everyone
It's quite miserable here today, so i'm not feeling like doing much. I'm sat having a nice detoxing hot water and lemon - trying to stop the kittens poking their heads in it. I don't think i will be able to let them outside today. I don't really want muddy paw prints allover the cream sofa.
I think i will have a sort through some of the paper work today in the dining room, as it looks a real mess.
DH loved the lasagna i made last night. I'm going to try fish pie tonight. I've been saving my bread crusts from the HM loaves, and following instructions on here, put them at the bottom of the oven while cooking lasagna, then blitzed them in the blender. Hopefully, with a bit of potato, and then topped with these, my fish pie will be tasty.
DH has actually been looking in cook books to suggest things i can make,so i think he's getting into the spirit of things.

My hubbie gets an open envelope and tapes it with masking tape to the wall right underneath where he is drilling - all the bits drop straight in the envelope, so there is no mess, so no need to hoover0 -
Morning everyone
Good luck with your exam snowyowl.
Hugs to everyone who didnt get a good nights sleep.

DD2 is off to the drs later to have her wart removed - she is very nervous.

Morning all, I am not going anywhere today. I have spent far too much money in the past few days and although none of it has been wasted and I have have saved myself a lot of money as everything I bought was birthday or next years christmas presents all bought for peanuts in the closing days of the sales I have sworn off spending anymore money this month.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well I've just done my tesco shop online..... spent £82.11  That includes £4.99 delivery (charges are high round this way) but I will get £8.78 in offers taken off that amount so only really spent £68.34 on the shop. That gives me the bonus 1200 points towards my ever growing pile of points towards a holiday. I've got £58 sitting here - £17 worth on my card, £11 worth on DH card which should end up in around £100 worth of vouchers/ £400 worth of deals.....
I wont need to shop again for ages now, was a struggle to spend so much with the limited amount of freezer space I've got at the moment - but the cats wont go hungry and the BM won't know what's hit it!
Right - off to sort the wardrobe.........someone shove me in the right direction pleaseeeee."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
