Hello everyone,
Busy morning so far, had to go to the hospital today to see my consultant. I suffer from a condition called ITP, which means i have a very low platelet count (which is why im always covered in bruises!!!!), but good news today, my level was 51, which although is still very low, its quite high for me so very happy now, and i dont have to go up again for 3 months!!!
Celebrated by spending too much at Morrisons, but mostly on fruit and veg (why do they never have special offers on these items!!!) although i have treated myself to a self serve salad for lunch.
WM loaded and ready to go, and apart from that, going to have an easy day. Childminding children happy as we are blowing bubbles, and DS and DD at school, mind you, do hope it stops raining before i have to pick them up!!!
Breakfast = Opps!!!!
Lunch = Salad
Dinner = Salmon and roasted veg
Take care all

About an hour before as long as you don't make them too big. About 50-75g or 2-3oz works well, and if they're still not quite done when you're ready to eat, just hook them out and nuke them for 1-2 minutes on high.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Afternoon
Electrics all done, just need to wait for D-Day now for it actually to be fitted but would assume its very imminent :eek:
Washing has been put on airer by OH and he is currently doing a little more of DD's wall papering..it seems to be taking forever, but does look lovely. DW has been on and needs emptying-OH said he will do in a minute. Kitchen needs a quick lick as OH has been using sides for a pasting table :eek: and floor needs a sweep and thats about it.
Lunch was a tin of soup between us. Tummy playing up today and couldnt face a baked spud, so settled on lentil and bacon with buttered bread. Have promised DD Toad In Hole for dinner, but dont think my tummy will let me eat much today anyway, so will probably make and she can just have a bigger portion-with veg of course
Got a DVD through this morning from my free dvd trial, so may watch that in a minute. Its the Ring 2 and looks scary, but love films like this, although I dont watch them often.
New chequebooks arrived from our new A&L current account. No cards yet, but there only electron cards and am just going to put through the account about £800 a month and hopefully will get it upgraded to a full account in 3-6 months as I have no bad credit, but think its because OH has been put on this account and he has no history really as everything has always been in my name :rolleyes: Going to post on current account section in a min and ask what the best thing to do is-as I dont have a clue and need a proper debit card for online shopping as I cant get out much
Anyways, best go but will call in later.
Have a great day.

Hello everybody
Woke up in the middle of the night with a splitting headache and then was sick! Decided to take it easy today.
Post has just come and a Tressemme hairdryer and three of their products has just arrived (present for DD (17)) (mag subscription but don't let on.
Also arrived yesterday - a make up palette from Dr Pierre Richaud which she will love (It came with a red weekend holdall and matching vanity bag).
Other DD (12) has an earlier birthday and is having a bowling party with 9 close friends -eek!!! Plus a few little things to open.
Tea is in the SC - Shepherds pie with sausages, onions and carrots.
Big hug to those under the weather."This site is addictive!"

And she's back again ....
can you tell she's bored yet?
Just had a brainwave re: tonights tea - in the fridge defrosted was some beef stew I was going to have for my dinner as there was only a single portion left. Thats now in the pan with the veg stew from last night and will be joined later by the end of the packet of Smartprice frozen sausages which I've currently got defrosting on the side in the kitchen. Not too worried about the temperature though as I haven't got the fire on so downstairs feels like I am sitting in a fridge! While I was at it I've chopped up all the fruit that was on the turn and put it in a pan with some boiled fruit that was in the freezer to make a nice fruit surprise crumble. So tea tonight will be :
Main : Stew surprise
Dessert : Crumble surprise
Now we don't usually have a dessert but I want to stretch the stew out a bit more and the fruit needs using ASAP. Maybe I'll serve the stew as it is (with the sausages in as well though) for tonight and then tomorrow thicken it with gravy granules (I never make my own gravy as I could never make enough!) and add dumplings :think: Therefore getting 3 nights meals out of 1 pan - how ol'style is that :dance:
So while I sit here typing away I'm enjoying another option for my dinner.. vegimite and cheese sandwich (brown bread, a little olive spread, vegimite thinly spread on one slice and loads of cheese) with a chicken noodle cup-of-soup (Asdas own). Not quite sure about the sandwich, the taste of the vegimite it very over powering. I think this might have to be reserved as a real emergency sandwich option. The cup-of-soup however is delicious with many more cup-of-soups left due to me buying 1 of every flavour available
Hmm...now where shall I go... *runs off to rummage through other forums within MSE*Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
