Havent decided yet!! I kind of want to know, but would also like a surprise. DH would rather not know, but doesnt mind if he 'finds out'. I was thinking about asking the sonographer to write the sex in a card and then sealing it up for me (provided they're pretty certain they can tell what it is). I'm thinking about then giving the card to mum so she'll definitely know what we're getting, even if she doesnt survive long enough to welcome him / her in person. Not sure what she'll think of that idea though - think she'd like it. If I did that I'd ask her to tell me what it says, just so she's got someone she can do 'colour specific' shopping with as my dad def doesnt want to know. Wont tell anyone else though.I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -

I think that is a lovely idea! As you say, assming they are pretty certain of the sex. We didnt want to know to start with but are coming aorund to the idea. Twins also run in my family so am more interested in ruling out the fcat that there might be 2 beans in there!!!Kirsty, Taunton, xxx0 -

Hi Yall, I'm feelin guilty cos I don't get on OS until lunch by which time there are so many posts I cannot possible reply to them all (I do read them all tho)
JW Sorry you're having a bad time. Those attacks really do feel "real" at the time don't they. Have you looked into any relaxation techniques to help you while you are having them. I used the Laura Mitchel technique which helps relax your muscles and gives you something to focus on mid attack.
PP Make up with your SIL. Whichever of you was in the wrong be first to hold out the olive branch (you're such a nice person I know this won't stick in your craw) We all have barnies (even Mrs MATH and I have been know to have the odd cross word;) )
A bright cold day today. I popped into the coop to pick a few bits up I can't get at Aldi (must remember to adjust my FGC totaliser).
As I left the school I notice a coach waiting to take my olders sons class one mile down the road to another school to practice a joint stage show. This is days after the school sent a letter out asking parents to walk so their kidz get fresh air and excercise and the school road isn't clogged with traffic. I sense my spleen may need to be vented on this issue before the week is out.
Well we are almost in February a full two months afetr Mrs MATH and I said we would start to panic if she hadn't got a job. Typically Mrs MATH is as cool as a cucumber and sleeping like a log and my stress levels are so high the national grid are looking into hooking me up to the national grid as a quick way of meeting their Kioto targets. I think me going completely crazy in the Royal Infirmary carpark the other week (screaming, shouting and threatening all kinds of damage to property and body because someone nicked my spot )gave them a hint I was an untapped source of hidden tension/energy.
My daughter rolled her eyes a bit like this:rolleyes: and uttered the imortal line "take a chill pill Daaaaaad!":oThank goodness the MATHLETTS take after their Mother and don't have my 'artisitc' disposition.
Second day of using my airer. Infact I have two in the garden one full of whites and the other darks (I bet the birds poo on all the white stuff):D Thanks for the cetificate PP I always knew someone would certify me eventually:p
B Cereal 2 1/2 pts
L Cupasoup and bread 3pts
D Vegtable pasta bake 7 1/2 pts
HM Strawberry Mousse, fruit and jelly 3pts

Excercise target for today is 11/2 hours walking
Have a good day

Thanks SomersetPrincess and MrsBo for the kind thoughts. I'm hoping it won't take too long. I came off the pill over a year ago, but then we put plans on hold because we were getting married in Oct 05. I've been taking my folic acid. My only concern really is that we seem to have a lot of miscarriages in the family. One sister had one, then a baby. The other had one baby, one miscarriage, one baby, one miscarriage, and last month had an ectopic pregnancy. Both sisters are younger than me. I know i'm only nearly 27, but i'm still quite glad to be trying now and not in my 30s for the 1st time.
I am going to have to be good on timings as my best friend from university just asked me to be bridesmaid at her wedding at the end of MArch 07. I don't want to be 9 months pregnant on the day, but i don't want my plans to be set back another year at the same time.
kiwichick you are not having a good run of it this week are you. I hope you didn't have to wait too long or get too cold to get the door open again.
i think i'm going to get my lunch, and then i really shouldn't put off ironing much longer. I can lose the majority of the day on here if i'm not careful.

Hi all, posted a few times recently on this but find it hard to get involved in things so thought I'd try again. Up early and have now found house tidier than its ever been with everything in its rightful place, floors hoovered and washed, dusting and ironing done, DW and WM been on and emptied. DD now at playschool and DS having a nap - think I'll try to keep doing things OS way, really seems to have helped get this house organised.
Dinner tonight is a selection of Tesco Finest foods bought for roughly 40p each the other day (rather than £3 - £6 each) so freezer is now full to overflowing and everyone is happy.
Hope everyone is having a good day and just want to say that you all sound like a lovely bunchJoined slimming world Feb 2010

Had a bad night, when we came home yesterday I felt decidedly yuckky, did not have the liver and sausage casserole last night, OH had his I put mine in the freezer so I have 3 portions put away.
Did have a couple of ryvita's and some cheese about 8.30......went to bed just after 10pm, could not get warm, managed to get to sleep but woke just after 12 and that was it until well after 4am, just did not feel 'right'. Usually go out on a Tuesday but got OH to phone and say I will go on Thursday instead. Stayed in bed until lunchtime.. at least I have tonights supper ready, spag bol, not sure if I will have any will see how I feel later.
Managed to fold up the laundry from the airer, put one or two bits on the rads to finish off.....apart from that done nothing............
Need to get my act together for tomorrow its Tesco day, need to do my Feb shopping.
