Just rung KR. You can either download their application form, or else ask for one to be sent. All money and application forms have to reach them by 28th November.

I have had an email from KRBS. They are pulling this 6% bond today. Surprised it lasted so long. Weve had an ISA with them 5 years and they are a great little building society. Only wish Id never transferred to bloody Icesave 3 months ago for nmore interest Big mistake. Just put 50k back with them on 2 yr bond. Well recommended company.

Some are saying 28th but my e mail from KRBS says today. I would check the date if you are applying after today.

I've printed off the forms for the 2 yr fixed rate account and wondered if anyone can tell me how soon they deposit the cheque after posting it off to them?

I need to transfer funds to cover it from Egg to Nationwide which can take up to 3 working days so should I do that first then post the application in a couple of days or take a chance that they will be inundated and possibly take several days to open the account?

Who knows, my Icesave money might even have turned up by then :rotfl:

It also states that you can only withdraw cash with the 100 day interest penalty in exceptional circumstances, anyone have an idea of what these are?
