thanks halight. don't get too down about not reaching your target. At least you have spent far less than you would have done had you not been trying.

I registered for which with a different email address and have now decided to buy a phillips GC8261 steam generator. Its £155 on amazon BUT they are amazing and I find normal irons false economy in my house of 5!

    Hello everyone

Congratulations to Toto and Fran on the birth of Lily Anne - she's gorgeous!

I'm back from my trip to Eastbourne with the fossils and all I can say is my mother in law is THE most infuriating woman in the world - I came blimming close to wishing she was daisy food! Next year the SIL, along with our respective DHs and Evie are going to Jersey. MIL asked 'what about me?' so I told her that she has two choices; either she gets over her fear of flying and comes with us or she goes on her own on the fossil trip! She really didn't like that but I was so fed up with her constantly going on about how she can't walk very far and has to use her inhaler - THEN she'll find a seat and smoke a couple of cigarettes! My sympathies were exhausted on the second day and since then I've been counting the hours till I get home!

Must confess that Wayne hasn't been much use as he just said to me that you know what she's like - yes I do:mad:

But it is good to be home and I'm so looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.

Hope everyone else is well and that I haven't missed too much gossip!
