what can i say except awwww Lily Anne is gorgeous.... but then we knew she would be as she has good genes! Is it okay to say, she's not a bit pink n wrinkly for a newborn.....!

How's everyone else in the house doing? I bet they whole brood are in love with her!

oooh jane, that's pretty! you clever!!!

well i got a nice surpise last night when i went home from runclub...

Big g had bought me something i really wanted, pink GHD straighteners....!! woop woop! pretty ones with sexy little bag and clips and lovely things....

anyhow he said check that they work, so i did, but i was all sweaty so couldn't run them thru my hair as it was kinda damp so i used erin as a guinea pig... they overheated, and melted!! and frazzled a section of her hair! (i know, such a bad mother!!)

So poor G was gutted of course, he'd bought them off a rep who comes into his work, they kinda must've fell off the back of a lorry. The more we looked at them, the more we decided that they were fakes as they weren't very heavy, felt flimsy and the plug was kinda odd, not sealed on like it shoudl be.... it had holograms and all the right markings but it just doesn't seem right.... G is onto the guy this morning for his money back... they retail at £120 and he thought he had a bargain as paid £60... so i dunno what will actually happen. i suppose normal consumer rights don't apply, but G is sure the bloke will see him alright as he does put a lot of genuine business his way too......!

so i nearly had GHD's but not for long!

and poor erin has a dodgy burned bit on her hair. thankfully i stopped as soon as i saw it! she said "mum, are you frizzling my hair?!!!"

Hi Maz, my its quiet here today...

We have GHD's and if they go wrong within 12 months GHD replace them free of charge...Why don't you get Big G to say to the rep - not to worry we will send them back - see his face drain of colour...

In all fairness - its not nice selling dodgy gear..you will know when you have a real pair they do wonders for your hair. We use them that much in our house we have worn two pairs out and are down to one pair now.

I'm at work today - its nice to be back out in the real world. Which reminds me Maz - how are your studies coming along;)
