It's good news that at least someone has received a form in respect of fixed term deposits, but will be even better news when those of us that have had them matured already or maturing very shortly.0

My form was received today. Maturing July 2009"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Great to hear that some of us started to receive their forms. Keep them coming :j0

For others to benchmark delays if relevant:
As a 'no linked ac' paper claimer I received my claim docs 21Nov.
I elected to let my FTB run to maturity (mid Jan 09);
and to claim the £400ish that was in the 'easy access' account. The claims were returned to FSCS 22 Nov.
I have received my easy ac cheque today, 19th December.0 -

My 1st fixed term matured 17/12/08 My paper form arrived 20/12/08 so in fact "soon" after maturity was correct in my case. I'm sure it's a coincidence the way the dates fell rather than FSCS fulfilling their promiseThis is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

I'm sure you're right (i.e. coincidence), as some people with accounts maturing in May/June/July 2009 have already received theirs. Great news that you've got yours though0
