Can't do a second as I don't want another search on the file

Reason for bothering - if you got a pre-approved application form then odds are no credit check.

Geo number posted above - I mailed application (pre approved) on about 16th December, Received card just after xmas, balance transfer credited to other account today.
    I think....

This has been the worst credit card application I have ever been through, due to:

    the wait times by post
the wait times on the phone
the customer service staff that cannot speak English
the number of times I have had to send them more information by post as they have messed up
    the low c/l (3.5k when I asked for 14k)
and to top it all off they told me I cannot pay the minimum payment by DD as I do not bank with HSBC. They then had the cheek to ask me if I would like to open a bank account with them ! - No thank you

After insisting that I should be able to pay by DD, she said she would send a form out to me, which I could send to my bank to set up a standing order.... has it arrived ??

    NO

    You were given poor information.

Once logged into your HSBC credit card account online, you can order up a DD mandate which they will post to you. The completed mandate should then be sent to their head office for processing.
