Could anybody point me in the direction of the Twinks Hobnobs recipe?
I've read so much about them, you all seem to love them!
Thanks, Arty.
Here you go. Click here. The recipe is in the first post.0 -
Thank you, I've got all the ingredients so I'll give them a go later tonight or in the morning!Norn Iron Club member 4730

I've used all sorts of variations one of which was to substitute the oats for muesli at a chum's house and they came out really, really fab. I think they lasted all of about ten minutes when they came out of the oven. Peanut butter is good, too.
Did u just add the peaut butter to the normal recipe??0 -
Had a free morning, this was dangerous
I now have over 100 twinks hobnobs in my home:o:eek::o:eek::o
plain ones, choc chip ones, cinnamon and apple ones, and they are all yummy...I've tested each batch:D

wouldn't want to let the family eat them if they weren't up to scratch.
Well, thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it:p0 -

I made a plate full and left them in the kitchen outside my office, for some reason my office was busy while I was feeding baby and now theres an empty plate!! The coconut worked in them too.
Who thinks Twinks hobknobs are the solution to the worlds problems? Or do they only work for us?Clearing the junk to travel light

Hey Annie, seeing your post reminded me of my late dad, who used to sample anything we'd cooked and say 'I'm just testing for poison'!! Cheeky tinker he was but greatly missed. I must give Twinks recipes a go. I didn't know they could be frozen, which is good for me and DH, as he won't really go for the healthy option. ThanksI got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -
Just speechless at annie's dedication to good mummyhood. I think we should all try to copy her, she's such a good example. :A:A;)0

I am trying to read the backlog of posts for this thread and so far I'm on page 5 and there's only 240 so I reckon that it will take me a few weeks to catch up - so I'm putting out a Twinks hobnob appeal to keep me going!
As they may get crumbled in the post or worse still never arrive at all I have decided to make my ownMay you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:0
