No.....resist....do not give in....bad people on here.....twinks hobknobs covered in chocolate!!!!!!!

That sure cheered me up after a very bad day, sorted out our debts with CCCS, but made a mistake and Dh nearly had a heartattack, then I corrected the figures and hopefully we will be debt free in 5 years. Still in a scary place at the mo but at least I have sorted it. Its going to be tight, like my jeans after I make choccie hobknobs tomorrow!

Haha, I was thinking that 15 minutes ago, then noticed that it was almost midnight. Bit late for baking for me. :)

    Morning all

Oh my god twinks hobnobs are lethal in this house! They are the main reason for my tupperware hunt because them being left on the side covered over on a plate are lethal and walking past them means you have to have a nibble or 3. Plus the mixture before its even baked is quite yummy too - shamed!

they don't survive the night here. Am wondering if I can add some dried fruit to them myself though and make boyfriend a sort of healthy cereal flapjack too and then I tend to drizzle some chocolate over the top - not fully coated - if I want to give Ben a little treat.

Still not gotten round to clearing out cupboards but will get my backside in gear and get it done - trying to do a use up things in the cupboard / freezer week as get my maternity allowance on Thursday next week but want to defrost freezer first - there is bu**er all in the fridge though - couple of frubes, mayonnaise, half bag of lettuce, a chicken breast and some dodgy looking carrots!

Made boyfriend a curry last night with a home pride tin and have to say it was very watery indeed, although in fairness I had some reduced LARGE chicken breasts from the coop - £6 down to £4.50 (and I had my dividend yesterday that was £40 so I used a £10 voucher and got other odds and ends plus my 10% staff discount) so put two breasts in and it gave him a large portion yesterday because he was starving after work with rice and bread and butter, and he had another decent portion to take to work this morning with a bag of microwaved rice - they were 2 for £1 in Home Bargains although am sure a supermarket does microwave rice pouches - I'll have to see if i can find it and get some next week in my shopping.

So mainly today I will be listing what's in the flat that's edible and seeing what I can make/cook/bake etc from it - but have to go over the hospital this morning - joy! more blood tests for anaemia - don't see what good it will due as I've only 13 days until bump is due.
    Time to find me again

Some really bizarre stuff here. Such as, chocolate covered biscuits are at the standard rate, but chocolate body paint is zero-rated! Who makes these rules up??
