whats the meal deal deal??
Just the usual, I'd bought five this month so today was my 6th and therefore free. I think there is a special offer on the coke though, like bogof. For some reason my receipt shows sandwich + 500ml coke + shapers orange segments 0.99 then 500 ml coke saving 48p so 51p to pay.
I like to use the bluey on roc wipes which I think are good value at 99p, with 2 teenage dd's at home we use a lot of these. http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=6123&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=110510 -
Maybe some glitches arent glitches.
Maybe they are placed there by Mr B specificaly to shift stock.
Maybe someone ordered way to many razors / S&G sets etc etc and Mr B thought - how the heavens do we shift these. Then maybe he had a clever idea to cause a glitch, knowing it would get mentioned on here and knowing that everyone would buy them even if we didnt want them just because we could. The reason they are fixed on .com straightaway but not in store is that someone will inevitabely go online and order stupid amounts of 1 item - just because they can, knowing that they'll never use it all. At least if its instore hundreds of separate people will get the offer, eventually working it out for themselves independantly of MSE , but at the same time they will also buy / see other items that they didnt go in for but decided they needed when the sight of the item prompted them. Therefore more money in Mr B's pockets.
The blueys arent any good to me but im only 27 and dont feel i need any facial skincare products yet, but i have seen several ''older'' people using them.
So the pinkies were good for me as i already love No7 but there would have been people that the pinkie wasnt any good for.
I too have been a bootster for many years before finding this thread, but i never buy anything on a glitch that i will never use as its just a waste of my money and stops someone who will use it from being able to get it. But there are also 100's of people who shop in boots that have no AC and have no idea about 3 4 2's or glitches and are literally throwing money away, so it all balances out in the end.
Either way Mr B wins most of the time in my opinion but i get a small reward every now and them for my loyalty.
So if Mr B is reading please have a glitch on ''brilliant brunnette'' 6 4 1 cos that would be fabby. I would also appreciate some baby glitches too.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Popped into Kettering store this morning - still no WS razors, Botanics facial sets or S&G sets!
Also none of the OOTW Elle sets! Hopefully the shelves will be replenished ready for the Xmas night tomorrow (fingers crossed)
Got 2 more blueys when I spent 2 - SA smiled and said 'we are just giving these away now!'0 -

Quote;
2 x razors
1 x 17 lipglosss mini's
1 x 17 GWP smokey eyes tin AND
1 x 17 eye dazzle - used the voucher out of the best mag, BUT sa had to override it as wouldn't scan - Boots must set the tills up only to accept these on christmas evenings or just not bother and instruct staff to put in manually!!
paid only £7.98
Went to the no7 counter as the lady is lovely and always says hello to the twins - she was interested in why I paid so little and had a look at receipt, I didn't let on I knew about the glitch but she worked it out from looking and was off shopping herself later on!!:p
Can you tell me, as I have the Best voucher for xmas eve shopping - is it confirmed you can use it anytime?
Thanks
Claire,
After peoples posts yesterday I popped into Boots quickley about 45 mins ago while I was out and got;
2 x nail varnish @ £2.69 and £2.79
1 x gift with purchase
1 x eye dazzle
went to the till and asked the lady if it was o.k. to use the eye dazzle voucher as it wasn't a christmas shopping day and she said yes-they never scanned anyway so will just take it off for you. I also asked if it could be used on the christmas gift sets and she also said yes. So, got the eye dazzle and another GWP foc.
On the voucher it does actually say 'free eye dazzle with any purchase of 17 cosmetics' so in theory you should be able to use it against the mini lipgloss set?
Sounds a bit SA dependant so hope you are all lucky.0 -

(thanks pollsdolls)
found S+G mini butters (usually £2.25) for 57p in Dundee, so if you are lucky you might find some? (thanks so_very_cool)
Yes, mine have gone, but I've still got them at the bottom.0 -
The s&g glitch that was is long gone (going through till foc), the only thing now is the 342 on the old gwp0
