From today the spending threshold for the blueys has been removed. Prepare to have a purse/wallet full of em!
Sorry to sound dumb but does this mean you could buy for instance a packet of crisps and still get a bluey?2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Not dumb! - and YES!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0

There has also been further reductions on some digital cameras today too. One of them being the Nikon Coolpix s210 now reduced to £74.99. For those of you that never saw my post a week or so back, there is currently an offer on of up to £50 cashback wyb a Nikon coolpix camera and ANY make/model of digital frame in the same transaction. You have to apply fot the cashback from Nikon so you would pay full price instore on the day and send your receipt in. If there is no mention of it on the photo counter/camera dispolay, don't worry. Everything you need is here http://www.nikoncompletepicture.com/uk/home_page.html
As some of the digital frames are under £50, you would get it for FREE! (obviously they will only pay for the cost of the frame and not the full £50 in this scenario). Or you could get a 7" Kodak for £5 (which is better quality than the free ones imho).
Don't forget, there's the points evening on today/tomorrow too, so you'd get the extra points too.0 -
If Boots are practically giving the blueys away they must be disappointed with their profits from the promotion. I think they would have profited a lot more if there weren't so many stipulations on what you can buy. I tried to purchase Olay (I think) Hand cream last week for £6.50 but didnt realise it had to be a facial product. Obviously I hadnt read the bluey properly but I think there are really not enough cheaper products on which to use it - credit crunch and all that!!!2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Absolutely agree - they clearly don't want to give anything away anymore because they've upped the price of most products which used to be £5 or less - rather disappointing!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
When I was in Boots yesterday, in one transaction on the ss tills I used a bluey to get an Olay face wash for 99p and the sa gave me another bluey! I told her I'd only spent 99p but she said it doesn't matter! It took me 2 weeks to find that Olay wash too and my blueys keep breeding with nothing cheap to spend them on, grrr!
I've been thinking as well (didn't hurt too much!) and why do you think Mr B has let the razor glitch carry on in the stores for so long? He obviously knows about it because .com was fixed not to let it happen. Maybe he's happy to practically give the stuff away!!! Bring on the sales Mr B :beer:0 -
I read somewhere that these dragged on the hair a lot due to the little things on the plates, unsure about the other set. If you can afford GHD's, they are thoroughly worth the money. I'd never buy any other straightners, but i do appreciate they arent cheap (but after buying 3 or 4 pairs of rubbish £30 straightners, spending £95 on one amazing pair is cost effective!)

I know nothing about straighteners, but I do know I want a good deal!
Also is there an online points offer this weekend? as over on the voucher board the online code details say it can't be used during the online advantage card event 28/11-1/12

Thank you for any advice offered!

My DD`s GHD`s packed up a few months ago, so planned on buying her a cheap pair to tide her over until xmas when i did intend on replacing them,
however, she rates these over the orignial GHD`s by far!
I have used them myself and have to admit , they r pretty good and i am well impressed with them, when i bought them (with points) they were half price £34.99 so, ave a good look around as they may well come back on offer at some point before now and xmax.
HTH
I can also recommend these, I bought them for about £27 the other week when my GHDs broke. They do the job well but they don't compare to GHDs0
