  • When CS kindly awarded me a lot of points last month, because of my Pampers-Gate fiasco, I specifically asked what items I could redeem them for, other than the usual things, and phone top-ups were included, and I've also used points in the past for this, without any problems.

Following a response from another Bootser yesterday, (sorry can't find it) that these are not allowed, I was frantic with worry that my points would suddenly be removed.

I've telephoned CS to check, and was told again that it was OK to use them for phones. I said "a friend" had said that they weren't, but CS said it used to be their policy not to accept points for phones, but they do now.

Could this be one of these situations where it depends which CS you are talking to? I'm still frantic!

Has anyone else used points to top up their phone please? And are they still a free citizen or have the Points Police arrested them!
