Id just like to add, that the Americans , seem to be more generous, with their lindens, so if you can get online late, say a weekend, you can be very busy ::))
I wonder why they're so generous? Perhaps they're more willing to be generous, or just more desperate to get some virtual action? :D
  • Please can you pm or email me with information as i am very interested.

I had to add something to this thread.....

Some of you may or may not agree with what others do for money or fun but personally I think its their business not anyone elses..... Lets stop the squabbling and get back to topic.... everyone is entitled to their opinion and to express their opinion which I think has now been done!

I have joined SL thanks to this thread and if I need any help I know I can come here.......
  • dustangle's objections are based on this notion that mandi is/was actively seeking to recruit people into the commercial sex industry, which suggests that he considers second life to be the commercial sex industry. this is, and always has been, incorrect.
Of course Sadville isn't the commercial sex industry and I'm sorry you got confused. Recruiting people to get involved in commercial sex activities in Sadville, as in real life, is pimping.

I hope that's cleared things up. If not, there's probably a cream you can get.

Ohh aren't you being clever ?. You've picked up a quirky name for Second Life that allows you to gloat at the people who do use it.

Once again, Mandi was not recruiting anybody. This has been made patently clear in this thread. The fact that you continually ignore this point merely paints you as a troll trying to stir up trouble.

    Hi ,

Following the dozens of PMs Ive had , it seems some users are unclear as to what to do ..:D So Ill try and explain a little better

!. Join Second life , and open a basic account..http://secondlife.com/

2.You then need to " modify" your avatar, with skin , shape, hair, and a walking animation.
These can be found by searching Free clothing , hair, skin , animations.. Also if you search, all the above without prefixing " free" in the search i.e search hair. many places have free gifts for new users..

    3. Once you have made your avatar, then you can search the different places for work ( just to add, you can dance, model, DJ,work in a shop etc )

    4. Once you have accrued your lindens ( SLs currency ) , you can sell them through the lindex
    http://secondlife.com/whatis/economy-market.php
, or E bay ( I would recommend you sell them in batches of not less than 1000, roughly £3.50 )

    5. Following some of the prevoius comments, I would like to say that ADIDAS, have a virtual store in SL http://www.brandrepublic.com/bulletins/br/article/592537/adidas-targets-avatars-shop-second-life/.. and some of the other Big names, are to follow .. The idea behind it ? they know that Virtual money, can be just as good as the real stuff when its exchanged

    Hope this helps everyone

    Mandi :D
  • Hi Mandi,

Upon signing up, you have your fictional name. Where it asks you for your Real Life First and Last Name, is it required for you to put in your Real Life Name? From quick research, I understand that Second Life does record your IP Address, so I was wondering if you place a false Real Life First and Last Name if you will get banned.

    Thanks.
