Hi! Am in need of some help please! Every time i put on a new item of clothing or shoes etc. all my clothes and hair that are on me dissappear!! Is so annoying as i then have to redress myself! Anyone else have this problem? Am loving second life though some of the places are amazing!

you need land before you can buy a house for yourself, and for that you need to be a premium member.

then you can get a house and put it on your own land.

the other alternative is that you can find a private sim and rent a house or a plot of land and put your own house on that. the downside of that is that most private sim owners will charge an extortionate sum for rental.

if you're a premium member, you can own 512m of mainland for "free" - and by that, i mean you pay no additional fees for it. you can get plenty of free or cheap houses big enough to put on that land so as long as you keep up your premium membership, you've got yourself a place.

what exactly are you finding confusing ?
