I was going to ask mandi to PM me for details, but looking at the techie bit of SL (the system requirements), I think I'd have to rely on my desktop machine more than my laptop, and looking at jason's posts #137 and #153, I'm a bit put off.

For those of you who know me from the Arms, I'm married IRL (now there's an old chat abbreviation for you; I'm showing my age again). It's something I'd have to mention to Mrs MbW if I was going to sign up and, even though I could earn extra money, she'd probably be against it, even though it's not a "real" thing.

You could always be a woman in SL, that would give your wife a laugh and she may even give you help/tips on what a woman would say/do!

I am interested in this, apologies for appearence of first post, i am a MSE regular in a different name, but given the subject matter and my dear dad a regular on MSE thought i would use a different ID, sure I'm he doesn't check my posts but better to avoid the argument/heart attack/ambulance scenario!

you can get plenty of free houses. you can't put one just anywhere though - you need land.

although there is a "free" land area that you can set up a house on, but it does get cleared every two weeks.
