and yes, there are many ways to make money outside escorting - i know of one person who learnt the scripting language used in SL and made a decent income charging people for custom built objects.

Jason seems to have explained a lot of the questions I have been asked..


Once you have made your avatar, Its just a case of putting " escorts" or " dancers" into the search option ,This will allow you to visit the various, venues, and then ask about working ..

As Jason has said, escorting isnt the only job you can do , however it is the easiest to find, and its well paid.

Chelley , if your still having problems ,please let me know, ill try and find another way for you to register.

When you have your lindens dollars they can be exchanged through various places, including http://secondlife.com/whatis/economy.php.. this will show you the exchange rate, but it might be wise to shop around , by searching Linden dollars , in Google, they can also be sold on E Bay

In my personal opinion, yes it would be.

While I was in Second Life earlier this year, I got to know two women.

woman number one was "married" to a guy from norway who was another second life user. Her real life husband was fully aware of what she was doing because he used second life as well and she was completely up front about it. He apparently thought it was a bit of fun, and seemed to get off on the idea of her having it away with other men in second life because he could listen in.

woman number two was also "married". the difference here is that her real life husband was completely unaware of what she was doing. she'd been texting her second life husband in the real world and quite often declared her love for him and said she wanted to be with him e.t.c....

as far as i'm concerned, woman number two is definately committing adultery.

don't get me wrong - if you meet someone in second life and fall for them and want to "marry" them then i'm all for it - whatever makes you happy. but if you're doing it to the detriment of your real life relationship then you really do need to change your priorities in life.
