I've made my point, and now I'm being accussed of being a troll etc.
I've offered my opinion, you've offered yours... 4,700 posts (and over 1000 thanks) is rather a lot for a troll though don't you think........0 -
Whatever we think Apple have got a quite big get out. According to their T&C's
"Whilst we will make every effort to supply you with the Products listed on the Order Confirmation, there may be occasions where we are unable to supply these Products because, FOR EXAMPLE, such Products are no longer being manufactured or we are unable to source relevant components."(my capitals)
They will just say 'an example' is the fact they boo-booed on the price.
Much as 'my daughter' would have liked the camera I feel we are wasting a lot of time on a lost battle.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Looks like the deals gone all together!!'If it's not broken, keep fixing it until it is'.0

their clause 2.6 feels like an exepmtion clause (which in Ireland I believe is not covered if a misrepresentation has been made). You should check with a professional legal advisor though.
They are sticking by their guns and saying there is no stock anymore (instead of a misprice). In fact I have taken them as to mean there was no pricing error, since they have not mentioned this issue at all. The problem they have in supplying me with my camera is that they say they literally do not have the physical stock.comments offered by myself do not constitute (nor do they replace) professional legal advice.0 -
I've made my point - Amba
Sad Person who seems to want to ignore the fact that its just not the Olmypus mistake that Apple have made, it also applies to Canon and Nikon confirmed orders Apple have cancelled !0 -
