Welcome back troll with nothing to say, you just made my ignore list :spam:desrever sthgir lla0 -
I just see this as the another phase in the fight to get our cameras. Apple have done nothing to discourage me so far, and they have had ample oppurtunity to do so. Instead they have tried me, and assumed if they say they wont give me camera then thats it. ....How wrong are they!!! lol. Even if they have to pay out the cost of my camera in legal fees and i actually dont get anything, i will be happy that at least i wasn't a walkover for them. Saying that, i think its important not to let this stress anybody (apart from apple!!) ....Coz that would be worse than losing.
.....Let em have it is what i say!!!!0 -

If I had ordered something in person from say a furniture shop.... went to pick it up and they said "well actually we're not gonna give you anything.... and we won't give you your money back for three days" then I would be also be annoyed, and rightly so.
Do you work for apple?
No I dont work for Apple, and I've never traded with them before. If the furniture shop item was seriously mispriced they would not have to sell it to you.
By trying to get this camera we have all tried a gamble which didn't come off, and one of the prices of that is the possibility of them having your money for a few days. You'll get it back.
If you'd paid far too much for an item due to a mistake, and the store then said they wouldn't refund it, would you be happy for them to keep it. You would have given them the money, your mistake. Its the same thing really, they made a mistake, and they dont want to lose out because of it.0 -
What is the best price people have found for the exact same package elsewhere?
I need this price so i can sue them for the difference under a ''loss of bargain claim''. I.e. if a contract is formed and they refuse to honour it, you can claim back the difference it has/will cost you to buy the same item elsewhere.
Trading Standards were keen to help.....0 -

.
you are correct ....when you got to the till they could say sorry a mistake has been made ..very sorry about that ..you will need to pay more....
HOWEVER if they took your money , and you walked out the shop then i think its a different matter .0 -

Cheapest ive seen is
http://www.fotosense.co.uk/shop_details.asp?productID=903
599.99 + 8.00 postage
hope you get somewhere with this, as I'm sure if they had to, apple would rather source them themselves as I'm certain they would be able to get them a lot cheaper - and then the doors would be open for everyone else to pile in with minimum fuss!

Mine is now cancelled
I just tried to cancel it again but i cant why?.
1. If you have just placed your order, please allow 60 minutes for our system to process it before trying to cancel. In some cases your items may not be eligible to cancel because we have begun the fulfillment process.
Its ok for them though.. Fulfillment process my !!!!!!!!!0 -

lol, it's libel (the much easier version to prove) of defamation. But let's keep it friendly people.
Anyone else had any luck with their phone lines?
Or has anyone contacted newspapers etc.?comments offered by myself do not constitute (nor do they replace) professional legal advice.0 -
I'll call again tomorrow, I will probably go down the route of loss of bargain. I'll need to get everything straight before I call.
I work at night so I won't be calling till the afternoon. I also have a revision session at 11am tomorrow so I'll be absolutely shattered.desrever sthgir lla0
