Oh well - too late now.
My thoughts exactly, Too many people ordering and nervously phoning the store to try to confirm whether or not they will get it!
Best thing to do is :-
1. Place Order
2. Forget about it
3. Enjoy it if it comes, if it doesn`t arrive no worries, you have n't lost anything.
Aparently some scotes have just put a few on ebay!0 -
gromituk wrote:Bleugh, that's possible but I'd have thought it equally likely that their software (if not their despatch department!) would notice a huge spike in orders and would be alerted at that stage.
I remember the Kodak misprice fiasco four years ago - I got my first digital camera out of that, for £100 instead of £350, after quite a bit of hassle. Since then, sites have tightened things up a bit!
yep, but larger companies often process and SHIP orders the same day
which means, YES it would be noticed, but only after many had been shipped (to the early adopters)
now people have phoned, someone can physically run over to dispatch and quarantine all the stock of E1 cameras, (by computer or pysically moving them) AND also call the courier and hold / recall any that are currently in transitmoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Hey guys - take it easy on this chap thats called up Apple - silly but an easy mistake to make.
I doubt that just his actions alone will be the cause of all our orders being cancelled.
The ebay scammers that have just flooded the website will also have a large part to play.
I am a student and have ordered one for personal use - so if they are all cancelled, I have as much as anyone else to be annoyed at.
At the end of the day - its only a camera - not worth ruining christmas over!
(unless you've ordered 74 and are worried about your profits!!!!)0 -
yep 74x500=37000-7400=29600 profit!0
