davilown wrote:Harryc - thanks for your honestyas i bet you are fed up to the back teeth about this bloody slr. I've written them a second letter that will be sent tomorrow (recorde of course) basically saying thati intend to proceed legally. What they will say is anyones guess but i believe that they will rebuff once again. Once this occurs, i think I will read the associated paperwork from the small claims court with regards to costs and who has to pay (ADVICE ANYONE PLEASE! - no moaning though about how silly it is to carry on with this). At the end of the day, whatever outcome, it will at least solve any future problems that may occur in a similar light - in fact i would risk losing by going to court even if they make a monetary offer just to clear up the matter.
Good day to all

I wish you the very best of luck. I ordered, didn't receive, contacted Apple...and just sit here watching everyone else argue about the subject. I admire you for sticking to your guns and at least trying0 -

umm would that be the price mistake that you alone seem to think that apple made....because this price mistake is news to apple ....unless of course they lie.
I wonder if £100 switched from YOUR account and not returned for nearly a week would somwhat sway your reasoning Or perhaps you condone apple for exploiting their mistake0 -

what mistake is it that you keep going on about.
Unless you are a secret mole who works for apple , and are spilling the beans on what actually happened then you do apple and its case a large injustice.
since apple claim no price error only a lack of stock then your continued insistance that it was a price error only highlights the fact that apple lies.
now what is it going to be .... a price error and apple is lying about no stock ...
or no stock and apple lies about no price error
you decide ......0 -
and you knew at the time that it was a genuine price then? and all these people would have tried to buy one if it was a genuine price, and weren't trying to exploit a price error..
get real.......0 -

get real.......
you must hate when january and the sales come along ...oh so very confusing.....when every shop in the land is discounting prices left right and centre ...
if any company in the land should have fail safe systems in place to sell merchandise online no questions asked about authenticity of the product offered or the price offered at then it should be apple.
god they have been in the computer game since well ..the beginning ....0 -
like i've stated before, it seems like someone has made a mistake, wether it is getting the price wrong, or not having any of the item in stock. I just think you need tyo move on. There's much more to life than sueing apple for 'Loss of Bargain' for god's sake!0

i think the biggest mistake however was the failure to actually admit that a mistake had been made, and that falls squarely at apples feet.0 -

I may be a student - part-time at that - but i have the money to do something about these 'events'.
Unfortunately the people who screamed most at the beginning have left this debate to those who understand what has happened, because they are all mouth and no action.
The hardcore remain!
