Just to clear this up... Is this all about the Camera still or is it more a principle crusade that you are going on. I think this is all getting blown a little out of proportion don't you?

Just back off with the pressure and threats of legal action and let Apple come out and admit they made a pricing error and apologise for the way they treated the effected customers. The more that they are pressed about this, the less likely something amicable will be the end result. At least the media is aware of it now and I'm sure Apple are also aware of this by now. I suggest you just sit back and let Apple make their move.

I fear that if anyone pursues this in the courts, even if the outcome is positive, they will look back and wonder what it was all about and most likely, feel short changed about it.

I'm sorry but this is getting rather stupid, and makes Moneysaving/Bargain type forums look very bad.

Everyone knew that this was a pricing error, myself included, so why try and hunt Apple down ? They made a simple pricing mistake and are trying to get out of it in a way that won't cost them a fortune.

I'm all for bargains, and use this site along with others every day, but come-on - a Digital SLR for 99 pounds ... discontinued model or not, thats a "mis-price" if ever I saw one.

I won't get into arguments.

But I've read every page of this thread - and if you take a step back and read it - it all seems pretty ridiculous.

I know Apple could have responded in a more truthful way - BUT we all make mistakes every day, the only difference is that we don't get hounded by hundreds of people ...
