Although Apple could have handled the situation better, one thing that you guys have forgotten to mention is that this camera was available at the same time on the 'normal' Apple site for approximately £659 (from recollection)

Did you all really think that this was genuine offer from Apple to discount the camera by £570 for all you students out there?

Apple seem to say it is, no misprice, just lack of available stock.

On the invoice it said so.

Also this offer was made available to both U.K. and Irish students.

Finally Apple themselves have not stated that it was a misprice but a stock issue.

When I was at school I bought Microsoft Office for under £100 through the microsoft student discount. The software at non-student price cost a few hundred £s.
