Thanks. It looks respectible and all (if I were a student and this was rented accomodation...)
Every wall is painted white though and I have no pictures on the walls or anything like that. when people ask I say I like things minimalist (and pray they don't mention the vast amount of STUFF that clutters everywhere)
Ah if they mention the "stuff" - say that you decided you like minimalist and are therefore sorting through everything to see what is necessary to keep and what you can pass on - but obviously this is a big decision and needs a LOT of thinking about :rotfl:
well done on getting the first room sorted though!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

how come it always starts to chuck it down whenevery I plan a nice night out?! I suppose, if we stay in it'll be money saving at least.
I hope OH doesn't mind my suggestion of catching up on a weeks worth of The Biggest Loser instead...
although, with my newly rearranged bedroom...! (I better stop now or Piq will be making comments about my lack of innocence again!)

Sounds like you have been busy in your bedroom!! Its great to hear you sounding so positive about it and having acheived so much, especially as in realistic terms you haven't lived there that long. For example my mum has finally decluttered her back garden and put down grass for the first time in twenty five years, so yours is like yesterday in comparison!!
Have a great night, however you spend it!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hey! well done on sorting out your bedroom, bet your mind feels sorted out too!
Don't let OH in there unless he promises to hover 6 inches above the floor! and not create any dust, mess or air contamination in there!

Hello!
It's snowing!!
Ok, onto business
I am no further forward with things really. I stayed in this weekend in the end (the weather was wild). OH and I watched a scary film instead (which I'm terrible at and was a quivering wreck the whole time - there is a reason I only own chick flicks!)
This week
I will clear out the living room and cupboard in the kitchen. I'm starting with the walk in cupboard cause it is the worst job by far.
Wednesday night I have a man coming round to measure up for my new windows. Even though we've not had a quote from him yet we've heard so many good reports I am sure that we'll go with him.
All in I just want to keep removing black bags of stuff from the premises!
Pay day on Friday... can I survive till then?!

Not sure all of mine is, but I'll give it a go anyway! I'll sell it as retro gear, sure to be a best seller....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I might have got away with selling some of my things as ex-hobo gear... It's all holey or with paint on.
I know I'd be rubbish at ebay and the like though... I'll just have to settle with buying less stuff now rather than selling what I've got.:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!
