Don't say things like that!! Kids?? scary little creatures. I like other peoples, they are usually fine - I can hand them back- but I'm not really the maternal type (definately not at this age anyway...):hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!

I don't really want to go out tonight. So I'm not going to go.
The only way of getting out of it is to say I've double booked.
Little white lies.
oh well...
as for the "have a more active social life" resolution. I was out last night and am going out tomorrow. I don't remember "Burn out" being one of my resolutions.

Hi KT, sounds like you are making great progress and even when we feel we are not making progress, sometimes we are making more progress than we believe. (If only i would listen to myself here!)
I think a change of attitude is the most important thing and it certainly looks like your way of thinking is changing and great to see you feeling more contented.
Thats the only thing with white lies, they often end up coming true! I have told lots of white lies and then they end up being true, i then end up forgetting what i told people and didn't!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I used to lie all the time as a teenager. What I discovered then was to keep it as close to the truth as possible, and to think of it as the truth - don't think about the real truth, so you tell the same lie to everyone. It worked, too!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I am Sooooooooo proud of myself!!:D
The bedroom is done! It still looks a bit bare and very undecorated, but last night (when I was supposed to be two different places) I rearranged the room. It should be a better arrangement now, organised. 2 black bags of rubbish have been removed from it. It looks huge now, all in more sensible placement. I was grinning so much when I finished it! I will use more of my clothing if it the chest of drawers is next to the wardrobe (instead of being at opposite ends of the room) The clothes will be put away more easily (or at all  ) if I am putting everything awayto the same place.
Today I started cleaning the kitchen. I will be taking out all the rubbish (altogether about 4 bags now... ) then going out to buy more kitchen roll to finish cleaning the kitchen.
I will then start on the living room. I can estimate another 2 black bags or more being taken from there too...
My main rule here is nothing from the living room can saunter back into my now perfect bedroom.
I still have a huge cupboard in my hall and a large walk in cupboard to sort out in the kitchen too. Then when all of these places are the way I can see them being in my head I can get back to the decorating.
I am going to put together £25pm and set it aside for decorating materials and stuff. I feel so motivated now and I can see what I am aiming for.
Thank goodness for Audible!
and thank goodness for all of you!

I kind of bought it in December 2007.

I gutted the place and then ran out of money and energy to finish the job (I'm rubbish at decorating).:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!

Thanks. It looks respectible and all (if I were a student and this was rented accomodation...)
Every wall is painted white though and I have no pictures on the walls or anything like that. when people ask I say I like things minimalist (and pray they don't mention the vast amount of STUFF that clutters everywhere):hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!
