I can do swimming as long as the water is really warm. Cold water spasms the muscles in my ankle and cramp and because the muscles can't control themselves, the foot turns over but I can't turn it back without standing on something solid . I had very scary experience in a deep pool in Ibiza a few years ago because of it

i like swimming now i know what to do a bit more! but i wish i was able to go swimming at a swanky leisure club rather than shabby council swimming pool with it's carpy hairdryers...!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

I don't mind that bit too much - can't wear my glasses or contact lenses so can't see anyone looking at me anyway! it's the stinking of chlorine and the getting ready afterwards that I hate. that said I'm thinking of going more often now I've cancelled the gym membership.

Ohh I have to wear my glasses in the pool. I wouldn't find my way back to the changing rooms without them :rotfl:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

the hotel in Leeds for the meet had those carpy swimming pool style hairdriers. It took me FOREVER to dry my mop!
