  • Morning all, taking LO to school this morning, hope its not too soon! She seems ok, am taking the day off uni so i'm close at hand in case there are any problems, wednesdays are not to busy for me anyway and i've emailed my lecturers to let them know whats happening.

Really hope you are feeling better this morning Crafty! Must have given you a bit of a fright.
Nice to see you back Tooti.
Flyladyflower - no polish with MF cloths, pigpen meant you polish the surface i think, not put polish on the surface. MF cloths are meant to reduce the amount of chemicals you use.

Big hugs to anyone else who needs them, going to get LO ready for school.

Thanks G&B - wasn't sure as it went a bit smeary, now I know why - so just water and dry - got it!

Well, am really chuffed coz nearly all Tuesday list done...

Tuesday Trouble - kitchen and dining room
    [strike]Level One[/strike]
    [strike]clear and wipe work surfaces
Wipe down all the major appliances[/strike]

    [strike]Level Two[/strike]
[strike]Wipe the tables and replace the cloth if necessary
Wash and open the windows[/strike] - inside and out, ready for my new blinds that I AM going to do today...

    [strike]De-web and de-fluff these rooms[/strike]
    Level three
    [strike]Clear and mop/vacuum the floors[/strike]
[strike]Scrub down the dining chairs... [/strike] - you really are psychic Pigpen...;)
[strike]Binbag dance! Grab a binbag... fill it up... and chuck it out![/strike]
Muck out the fridge! - couldn't face this yet, will do when I get dinner ready I think...
    Extras - help yourself!
[strike] Wipe and replace ALL the small appliances
    Empty and wash out bins
    S&S the hob and/or oven[/strike]

Clear out the top cupboard that always gets left because you can't see on it!!

EDIT: Almost forgot, I have also done 2 loads of washing, TD is on at moment (washer/dryer so can only do one at a time) and 1 DW done and emptied with another one on now with the oven and microwave bits in there plus stuff found in 'peoples' bedrooms...

Problem with being this clean in there now is that I can really see the dirt on the lights and the ceiling above the cooker - but not today, I'm not dripping stuff all over my shiny cooker and floor now...;)

Was going to have a nice cuppa now, but the kitchen floor is wet so I can't get in for a while... am going to do my nails instead as they are really clean now with all that scrubbing, but feel a bit weak coz they have been in bleach... (can't do the glove thing :( ) so I think they need a little pampering and my hands too... see you all in a bit...

  • Gryfon - sending a card later is what I would do, as many people "forget" a week or two down the line and it's nice to be reminded that there are still people out there for you. No funeral clothes so jeans are just fine. It's you they want, not your wardrobe! I went to a day centre clients' funeral and he had said just that. As it was summer, we all wore summer frocks and his wife said we looked like a bunch of flowers! :D As an aside, the gentleman concerned was a lovely chap called "Albert Hall" (I kid you not). He had acquired from a local building of the same name a street lamp with the name in stained glass which stood in his front garden.

Crafty - I hope you are feeling OK this morning and agree it would be good to inform the dentist, but go careful today as well.

Lady-liberty - I hope you hear some news today.

    Well morning ladies..............

The bug that has been doing the rounds has finally hit with a vengance both DD1 &DS 2 are off school today:mad:

they seem well enough to tidy their own rooms though:D

    Harsh! Again!

Still quite a few poorlies around, so more get well vibes and fairy sprinkles!

BTW - yet again confusion over the puppies. These are not litter mates, according to the photos that had been sent to the rescue prior to my collecting them, but that's not what the pound lady told me! Oh dear! At least they're cute, so don't think there'll be any problme for them finding a home.

    So far this morning:

Cats, dogs, fish and puppies fed!
    DW emptied
    BM loaded
    WM loaded
    CP loaded
    Washing hung up

Need to call vet for wormers
    SS Bathroom, Shower room, Kitchen,
    Wash kitchen floor
    Make bed
Re-hang curtains at patio door - still not done :o felt so tired yesterday

Off to see if DS is able to get up this morning. Later.

  • Morning all

Hugs to everyone - hope you are are well today.

Lil me - fantastic saving, wish I could do something like that. You'll have to decide what to treat yourself to now.

Toots - nice to see you back.

Just off to get started on the kids rooms. When I've finished I've got to put DS birthday presents together:eek: . Think it might take all day - why do they always end up with so much?
Then I better get his cake sorted.
