OrkneyStar - get and do your back exercises...:naughty::naughty::naughty: (you would be nagging us...;) )

Well, best laid plans and all that... sewing up my blinds just gone completely out of the window - my friend is coming over to see me so I think maybe I should get dressed and I definitely need a shower, then a manic tidy up upstairs (just in case, will shut all doors anyway) and clean the bathroom while showering (isn't that what we all do? ) so won't get spare room done today like I wanted - it is a tip!

  • Morning guys and gals!
    Thanks for all the greetings!!!!:A :A :A
I have managed to catch up on this week's thread - took hours - but still havent caught up on last week's so I know I am missing a few things so apologies now if I miss you - it is certainly not intentional! I am going to be asbrief as I can (hard for me I know!!!) as there are loads of replies to do!

Lil_me - hugs to you and the boys on the passing of Sonic - never heard of that kind of hedgehog - hope the boys are not too upset.
Soappie - congratulations on new job - havent found what/where/why it is - must be in last week's thread - hope you are enjoying it and I am sure you will soon get them licked into shape.

Vivw -hugs for you and your DS - glad to hear he is on the mend and back at his home - what a lovely place.
Greenbee hugs for you and yours - it must have been really hard to visit your grandfather knowing how ill he is. I hope your visit to Leeds isnt too eventful. Sounds like good progress with the Utility room -did you get the garage cleared in the end??
Rach - positive and relaxing vibes for DH - hope I am not too late - I am sure he will do fine once he gets started.
Supergirl - congrats on the medal.
Johanne- very well done on the Avon - I did it years ago and it can be a good little earner once you get established and you meet some lovely people. You should get some nice orders for Christmas things.

  • That is a hell of a post tooti!!!
LO was rushed to hospital friday night with breathing difficulties(she has a serious heart condition already so bad combo), turned out to be a chest infection - though i read her notes before i left and it said 'Lower lobe pneumonia'. We got out late monday night, think we must have caught it pretty early which was good. Hospital was full of kids with chest infections/pneumonia.

    Morning all

Lovely day here so far, sunny and mild. Two loads of washing out on the line, including my bedding, and it's drying well so I've just put in another load.

Dusted and vauumed all the bedrooms. Cleaned all the mirrors. Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Remade my bed.

I've given the lawns a really light cut just to tidy up. I managed to do the front one by reaching halfway across from the path and then going down the far side to reach over the rest. So I've only got one set of footprints by the wall where they hardly notice! The back lawn is like a quagmire anyway because of the dog trundling about on it so I just whizzed over it. It's still a mess but a tidy mess (if that makes any sense at all).

Going to make some little cakes in a minute when I put the oven on to cook dinner.

OK, going to see if any washing is dry ready to make space for the next load.

Oh, and I cleaned off the bottom of the lawnmower before I put it away so I won't get any nasty surprises next time I get it out :D

  • :coffee: There you go! How's LO today? Sorry, I'd missed about the pre-existing condition. Very worrying for you, esp pneumonia! DD was looking up about it when I started with the pleurisy and panicking (she's good at that. :p)
