Just caught up and seen the time so I should get to bed especially as we overlaid this morning
Glad to see you home toots
Hardly been in all day myself, was W's class assembly this morning. My Aunt came to that so of course we had to go out to the local garden centre/shop. Bought a couple of bits and after running an errand with Dad it was time to do the afternoon school run!
Been to Nan's for dinner (pre-arranged) so by the time we got back here it was just about bed time for A & W. So just to complete my total non flying day (again!) I have been watching the goggle box.

Ok silly question for you lovely people. Just seen that the funeral for this person I knew is tomorrow and I was going to send a card. Sending a card is better than giving one when I'm there so the wife has to juggle it isn't it? Still not sure whether to go as at the moment I only have jeans that will fit me, but it does say no mourning clothes allowed.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Gryfon, do what your heart says not your wardrobe, no mourning clothes means just that! I would either take the card or not give one, I prefer to say what I would like to in person than offer a card on the day, if I can't make the funeral I send one. What I do tend to do is drop a thinking of you card in about a week later with my number as a reminder that I am there if they need to talk. It's like new baby stuff, I send a card because some like to keep them but ask first, I tend to pop round a few weeks after when everyone else 'disappears'
hollyh that's what birthday dinners are for, hope he had a lovely time
AnWsMum I call them 'dashabout' days, think we all have those!
Think I might need to attack my hair with the dryer, just not drying and I am getting tired. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

toottifrootti wrote: »Hi johanne honey - hows you and pumpkin doing? dont be silly you are not interupting me - I might get into trouble for doing a run anyway!!!! I am doing a big reply post but I keep coming back to here to see whats happening and find something to post about!!! I might have caught up by the morning!!!
Are things ok at home for you - I dont mean to upset you by asking - has Oh gone? kick me if I am out of line!
toots xx
Pumpkin is cool. Little tinker as always
Things are weird at home... OH hasnt left. (i wont kick you cos im nice)
We have this weird situation going on as he has said it wont be till at least after christmas before he leaves because he has nowhere to go... i niavely thought he could move back to his mums as she lives alone in a 3 bed house and he lived there up till 5 years ago......he asked but she wont let him because it will mess up her benefits and pension apparently
So instead he is forced to stay here till he can find his own place which will lead him into financial ruin as he cant afford anywhere in liverpool on his £1000 a month (on a good month) take home pay. So its really screwing everyones life up because hes gonna end up in even deeper financial carp and in all likelihood bankrupt which could loose him his job, and im left feeling an emotional wreck as im forced to live with my ex, when really i dont personally want it to be over, with life carrying on like nothing has happened except when he isnt on nights he sleeps on the sofa and my engagement ring is missing (i threw it at him at told him to sell it for a flat deposit and I aint seen it since)
However so pumpkin doesnt pick up on any bad vibes things have to be kept pretty civil and nice so no blazing rows etc and so it can be hard, but Ive found that as im still breastfeeding (except 1 bottle at night) if i get too tense and stressed it stresses pumpkin out and she doesnt feed properly. So calmy does it...
OOOOOOOPs sorry for the essay:rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, and def doesn't need the Ed Psych - think he's been through enough...
I think so too..
Right, how exactly do you use these microfibre cloths? I have just brought myself some, the one I use for glass/mirrors/windows (the blue one) is brilliant and I love it but should I be using it with the window cleaner? and what do you use the others for? I was going to use the yellow one in the bathroom... I know they're just cloths, but I'm old and this new technology frightens me....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
MF cloths... grab cloth.. polish surface.. voila... colour unimportant.. dry/wet does make a difference..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
johanne honey no apologies needed - I asked! Sorry to hear its still all upside down for you - you are being very brave and doing exceptionally well coping with it and putting pumpkin first. I take my hat off to you.
take care of yourself (and pumpkin too but that goes with out saying!) and just come on here and let off steam/rant/de-stress whenever you need to - then you might even get a laugh at my rubbish advice!!!
