Morning all, taking LO to school this morning, hope its not too soon! She seems ok, am taking the day off uni so i'm close at hand in case there are any problems, wednesdays are not to busy for me anyway and i've emailed my lecturers to let them know whats happening.

Really hope you are feeling better this morning Crafty! Must have given you a bit of a fright.
Nice to see you back Tooti.
Flyladyflower - no polish with MF cloths, pigpen meant you polish the surface i think, not put polish on the surface. MF cloths are meant to reduce the amount of chemicals you use.

Big hugs to anyone else who needs them, going to get LO ready for school.

Hope the rest of the day went better for you Serena - take care... (PS _ If you just hold the bottle upside down in water and squeeze all the air out, you suck up the clean water, then you can swish it about inside and then squeeze it out again to wash it out - saves trying to get the top off - and loosing your fingers in the process!)
Thank you flower! So why didn't I think of that??? I already do that with washing up liquid bottles...

    :hello: Tootifrutti!Welcome back - we've missed you!

I've already put the main bedroom linen in the wash, so I'll carry on with that room - which won't take long, and may do the bathroom, as I shall be working tomorrow.

Bad night's sleep - DD had a bust-up with boyfriend, and was very upset - I think he's very emotionally immature, and insecure - but he's not going to take it out on my daughter. I think words will be spoken next time I see him, as no-one is going to treat my DD like that - ever! Bordering on controlling abusive behaviour in my view.

Okay, better take them to school - I had a call for work this morning and turned it down - bit of a drive and I really am tired. I must, must say yes the next time the agency calls - or they may stop calling!

ps pigpen you sound like an alright mum to me - and no-one ever needs more that an alright mum:D

Thanks all! Card in the post and not worrying about jeans it is.

Should do loads today but don't feel 100% really. One thing we have to do is food shopping as I've run out of vegetables, stuff for making bread etc. Mr G said he wants to say "what shall we get to eat" rather than "what do we have in the freezer"

Also the children cleared the lounge floor yesterday and hoovered it...but by the time Mr G got home at 10pm is was a complete tip again! I'm doomed to a messy house for at least the next 3 years until small one goes to school aren't I?
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

  • Morning all!!:D

No sleep last night after pup went mental on cheap food! My spare rooms are really tidy at the mo, mainly 'cause no one ever goes in them. That's really weird isn't it. Been in a 3 bed house for over 2 years but we still live like we have a 1 bed flat! Apart from a dust and a hoover they are okay so I' m going to do my bathrooms... (one of those stupid new builds, where the rooms are tiny, but there is a toilet for every bedroom!)

    my list:

    bleach down toilets
    tidy clutter
    empty bins
    disinfect, scrub and wipe toilets
    wash towels
    clean sinks, bath and shower
    polish mirrors
    hoover floors
    mop floors
    wipe skirting boards
    make dinner
    Make more bread
    make apple pie

    Hope everyone is well.
