valli - not heard that. Ridiculous. I get about 15 minutes for lunch, and 5 for coffee, so I'll get a massive amount of marking done in that time. Maybe I'll just insist they email me everything.

I did wonder...I heard it from a teacher in another authority who uses the same coffee shop I do...then goes home, on Saturday afternoon to work Sat afternoon and Sunday. Work life balance. I wouldn't have any if I worked F/T...

Good job its the lounge, hall & stairs as the hall is in desperate need of attention, as is the hotspot behind the chair in the lounge. But hopefully the hotspot will be minus 3 things if they sell on ebay this week. Unfortunately no bids but still 2 days to go.

This week I need to get baking. Have got to make a birthday cake for DD1 who will be 6 on Sunday. She wants me to surprise her with her birthday cake this year. So far she has had a no. 1, chocolate teddy, butterfly, barbie doll with cake skirt and a stable for her my little ponies. Seem to be a bit lacking in ideas this time. I'm not a bad cake decorator but not a pro by any means. Anyone have any good ideas???

I'm in again although I do have some bits to finish this week first. Not heard the rumour about marking but if that did happen I'd spend every night at school. I suppose that way the house would never get untidy!

Have heard tonight my youngest [he's 23] has been rushed to hospital ...had 4 fits today...just waiting to hear more so staying close to phone

Im in again pigpen. Although working Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday as Im at a wedding at the weekend.

Have just got up after my night shift. Didnt mean to sleep as late.

The site does seem to behaving a bit of a glitch again tonight.

Lots of people seem to be falling out with Ohs etc. Tensions at work as well. Though its been a full moon so things should get better.

lil-me Thats terrible what happened at the bowling. They knew how many lanes you had booked. As someone else said you were all the public as well. Discrimination comes to mind.

It was a square cake with ice cream cones used as the turret tops. I am rubbish at cakes. Choc hedgehogs are nice though...

AnWs Mum I was gonna watch AR anyway (last week's thread) - I love it. My friend is going to take me to an auction...I used to have a stall on the Flea Market.
