    Hi!
I comlpetely missed out on flying last week, I spent quality time with my family and I know from past flying that it will not be too difficult to sort out. We had a fantastic time at Center Parcs, it was lovely to be all together. I think it has helped DS2, he has spent less time in bed or in his room alone. He has also joined us at meal times and went to the pub with us yesterday.
Today I am sorting out our bedroom, it is one of eight rooms that need tidying. It is frightening how quickly detritus builds up with so many people living here. Sorry pigpen, not as many as you.

I haven't read back through posts as there are so many!

    My list done so far
    wm x3
    td x 1
piles of clothes put in bedrooms x4
DH and my clothes sorted and put away
    Odd socks paired x 43
    Beds changes x 2

    To do
    Pay oil and gas bills
    Source some firewood
    Make yoghurt
    Post box to DS1
    E mail caterer for wedding
    Post alarm clock for repair

I'm glad someone thinks it's funny. 30 kids and I froze in horror then sent the noisiest most assertive boy to bring an adult NOW...went to the loo and broke down...

Now why can I not be in control?

To be fair Christmas - I am making light of it for a reason - if I didn't laugh I would cry and I am panicing - but it is going to make life unTENAble if it carries on - I drove home sitting on a carrier bag - car seat covers cost £150+!

Then I had to go to the comp to get keys off the kids because Lord knows where I left mine...they offered me a seat. Fabric covered so I said I would prefer to stand...

  • Justamum wuld you like a tip out of my "helping Santa" book?
When your DD catches you buying a present tell her you are getting it for Father Christmas because he is so busy he asked you to do some shopping for him. You don't know who he will give it to, but you expect it will be a good girl.
    ;)
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Aaaaw! I'm sorry I didn't mean to mock. It was just the phrase that made me laugh.
I have those "prefer to stand" occassions too. Luckily they don't last for long. Chin up girl. A couple more days and it will all calm down.

I've also cleaned my kitchen units and worktops thoroughly :) But when I told DH he laughed and said I was the only person he knows that cleans the kitchen and it is being ripped out on Wednesday..lol I didn't even think about that, I just cleaned it while I was making a cup of tea inbetween the ironing..lol Am I mad???

If you didn't clean them you would have crumbs etc on them - you still need to use them in the meantime. And it's no worse than washing knickers before throwing them away :rotfl:. And I'm not the only one on here who does that :rotfl:

No - I know - then I edited my post as I realised it looked bad. It's defo one of those 'if I didn't laugh I'd cry situations...'
Trouble is if I have to take time off work (at my time of life) or be limited in my movements IYSWIM something is going to have to be done...

Still (Pollyanna mode) at least I get to catch up with the thread and drink coffee.

    :coffee: anyone?

    :coffee::coffee::coffee:::coffee: there you go...

    :o no she isn't.

But wouldn't you be HORRIFIED if anyone found your discarded unwashed undies and KNEW they were unwashed and they were YOURS!

I got sidetracked into doing some washing up some my coffee is now just warm.

Still haven't got into the lounge yet and I'm running out of energy fairly fast!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
