  • I am new.... :xmastree: but I think this is fabulous... I am quite competitive so a list like this will challenge me to DO IT!

Does it count against me that my eldest son (17) does the vacuuming on a Monday and Friday... hehehe - I will have to start with Level 2 or do I do the vacuuming properly as he is male and tends to vacuum the house in about 10 minutes! ;-)

I'm in this week. Hopefully I'll get more done this week than last - I think I had some kind of bug which gave me a weird vertigo-type head, headaches and jippy tummy, but the effects are less each day. It's already after 10 and I'm still awake, which is progress!

Re Antiques Roadshow - I'm going to have to watch it on i-player now. I don't usually watch it, but I'm all intrigued about this mystery object! :rotfl:

Justamum - you have just described what I've got. Started last Tuesday with the very jippy tummy and went downhill from there - the headaches don't shift no matter what I take

I think you all just need to put me down and put me out my misery :D

Just back from the docs who has signed me off work for a week - the last time I was signed off work was 18 years ago

Anyway - hope you are feeling better Justamum and hugs to any other poorlies out there :grouphug:

:( One of my jobs today was to clean Sonic out, he's died through the night :( DP of course said 'well they last long don't they' he was only just coming up 2 years old but they do have a similar life expectancy as hamsters. He was ok last night, there was a lump near where his bottom is and something blocking on the way out it looks like :( poor little fella. Put a downer on my day now, going to have to tell the boys which I am not looking forward to. Emptied his cage out, have put the plastics outside, they just need wiping as it's all empty, I can't face cleaning them now, just the empty top of his cage on top of the vivarium.

hollyh you could try it, saying he'll have to use it as no more nappies left leaving him no choice or you could try some sort of reward system for no nappies/potty doings. I'd be prepared for accidents however....
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil me - I hate it when pets die. We've lost 2 hamsters and 2 fish since September. It doesn't get any easier. Hope the kids don't take it too badly.

My list now looks like this

    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything

Just going to have a bit of lunch and then I'll do the dusting.

Hugs Lil_me, I know it's not nice when you loose a pet, and telling the kids is horrible... will you have a little funeral for sonic? Mine always wanted one and I think it helped them let go a bit more, even though they got upset - they would decorate it with pretty stones and stuff after - bit of a pet graveyard in our garden at one point - don't envy the new people when they decide to dig it over...
