there are some amazing products on the market to help with everyday living... i used to work in a little "disabililty" goods shop and remember being amazed at what you could buy!!

The serious side of me always thought theres some truly amazing goods must really help people live a more independant life...... but i have to admit in my first week i did get the giggles a little when i was stock taking and come across the "bottom wiper" contraption!! :o:o:o

Someone on the Fibromyalgia thread on here was saying they wish there was something to do that job. Please excuse the pun, not intentioned.

I'm trying to sort out what to eat, I know we must eat, but everything is tasteless and we cannot smell it either.

Might be cheese on toast, as that is all I have energy for.

Anyone else got any ideas, not got a lot in, as I really cannot face Mrt's and I have never got to grips with online food shopping.

Oh I forgot well done Miss A on your badge.

my mum is brilliant and will take sarah whenever i need her too unless really impossible due to appointments etc, shes is always offering and even said she will take sarah when i need to go back to work when XOH leaves. I just dont think its fair... way i see it is shes brought up her kids... so why should i land her to bring up mine all the time?! We cant afford nursery.... i looked into it so i could get a break/return to work and the cheapest round here is £31 a day, there is just not the money inthe budget for it :( . XOH should take more responsibilty and take her more often afterall most men would kill to have 4 days off with his kid every week!!!!

I feel really bad for ranting on here my problems are nothing compared to everyone else...

    BUT ANYWAY..... GOOD NEWS NOW... I JUST RECEIVED A FANTASTIC GIFT FROM SUNNYGIRL.......:j :j :j :j :j

Mum popped in with my parcels that i had delivered to hers (see told you shes great!!) and one of them was off Sunnygirl full of lovely clothes for Sarah.. So just wanted to say a huuuuuuuge thank you!!! Was so kind of you xxxxxxx:T :T :T

    NOW LISTEN HERE YOUNG LADY!!!!
I knew thats would you would be thinking about your MUm - but you are not asking her to bring up sarah you are asking her to babysit and thats what Grannys love to do - I bet she would love to have sarah once a week/fortnight for the whole day or part of the day - and you could do what you wanted in that time. It would be easier for your MUm to know exactly when she was needed and you could plan what you needed to do as well.

If Oh moves out he should have her at least 2 days a week, more if he's not working IMHO - after all he is jointly responsible for her.

What a lovely suprise from Sunny girl - that has cheered you up a bit anyway.
And for goodness sake - stop apologising - or we will come and sort you out!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

    toots xx

  • Johanne - Totally agree with what everyone else has said, honey - he is being a selfish immature pr*t! You are not a selfish ANYTHING (please don't ever call yourself names, sweetie - you are so much better than that!)
You definitely need some "Johanne Time" and, I hate to say this, you need him out - unless he is prepared to grow up and change - Big Time. It can be awfully hard for some people to realise that things change when you have a child, and it looks like your ex doesn't understand this yet. There's a well-worn saying - "Anyone can father a child, it takes a real man to be a daddy".
The thing is, you need to be OK yourself in order to look after Sarah and that means caring about and for yourself.
I love looking after my grandchildren and I'm sure Toots is right when she says that your mum would probably love to look after Sarah so you could have a bit of time to be Johanne, not just "mummy". I also agree with Toots that exOH needs to take responsibility for Sarah and spend time with her too.
Sending you a big virtual hug, honey - hope you are feeling a bit better soon (have you got anything to take for your throat?)
