PF I thought he was when I looked, I was in the middle of paperwork sorting when I was listening, he can still sing as I have seen him live on something else.
AnW'sMum well done to A on her badge!!
johanne I can't add much more than I have already, while you are a doormat he will treat you like one honey, it's either brave up to him or kick his sorry backside out and he'll sharp realise what he's lost. Until then he'll wipe his feet on you every time he comes through that door. Sorry but I have been through it myself and I doubt he'll get any better while you let him have his cake and eat it. He's the one being selfish, ignorant and a twastard not you.

OJK !!! 12 rooms! That seems loads, thinking what a huge house, when you say it like that but now trying to add up how many we have

    1.Living room
    2.Dining Room
    3.Kitchen
    4.Utility
    5.Conservatory
    6.Bathroom
    7. Our Bedroom
    8. DS1s Bedroom
    9. DS2s Bedroom
    10. Hall/Stairs/landing which I suppose is a room in itself
    11. Garage which is used as another room mainly for DP (yes he's carpeted it etc) but I keep td, ff etc in there

I actually didn't think our house was that big, is there any wonder I struggle to keep it tidy?

Well a lovely dinner, so simple in a way as it's such lovely quality it doesn't need tarting up, I feel extremely full now, steaks were great, did some HM onion rings which I haven't made for ages (filled a milkpan with oil as I don't have a DF fryer) the kids ate a lot of them (but ask them to have onion in other things and they won't!) peas (corn for boys), thick cut chips and eggs. DP was silent from start to finish apart from saying how nice the eggs and steak were, I have been buying shop eggs this week and they just aren't the same. DSs will probably want some supper later, might just see if a fruit salad will do them

I have a meal plan ish sorted for next week and a list of what I will need, I should still come in under budget. I'd needed stuff for another couple of meals hence the sausages and steaks. It's not essential I come under budget, have some bulk buying in the money I have spent, but I hate being defeated.

I ain't done much cleaning up yet, might be able to get the boys to help me tomorrow with some stuff as they want to clean the fishtank out. Waiting for WM to finish and need to hang that lot on airers (stuff that can't go in the drier) DW is still going too, need to empty that so I can refill it with what is cluttering the kitchen. DP has had to vacuum my car again for tomorrow because DS2 ate sausage roll from the butchers in the car, I forgot he'd just cleaned it, :rotfl: he was really impressed. Actually he's left the vacuum cleaner in the garage, think I will vacuum out where the TD filter goes while it's there, the filter never stops all of it going through.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hello all

Am back, we walked from Wimbledon to Victoria along the route of the district line (DH has an idea he wants to walk all of the tube lines!) not sure how far yet, probably about 8 miles I think, maybe less, will map it later and see... Was lovely to spend some proper time with DH and get out and stretch our legs, it's a few weeks since we've been on a walk. Might have a bath now and get into pjs, can't get properly warm!

johanne - i agree with Valli completely. it's not a bad hting to need some time away, as I'm sure all the mums here will testify. Don't let him take advantage of you - the more you do the more he will...

lil_me - thanks. I'll go up to WHsmith in the morning and see if they have any, if not i'll order on amazon. I'll let you know how I get on sarahs, i've usually got a traidcraft one from the woman at my old church, guess she could send one if i'm stuck
bumped into MiL on our way out, turns out FiL not taking the service in the morning so we won't bother with church and will deep clean one or two rooms instead.

my mum is brilliant and will take sarah whenever i need her too unless really impossible due to appointments etc, shes is always offering and even said she will take sarah when i need to go back to work when XOH leaves. I just dont think its fair... way i see it is shes brought up her kids... so why should i land her to bring up mine all the time?! We cant afford nursery.... i looked into it so i could get a break/return to work and the cheapest round here is £31 a day, there is just not the money inthe budget for it :( . XOH should take more responsibilty and take her more often afterall most men would kill to have 4 days off with his kid every week!!!!

I feel really bad for ranting on here my problems are nothing compared to everyone else...

    BUT ANYWAY..... GOOD NEWS NOW... I JUST RECEIVED A FANTASTIC GIFT FROM SUNNYGIRL.......:j :j :j :j :j

Mum popped in with my parcels that i had delivered to hers (see told you shes great!!) and one of them was off Sunnygirl full of lovely clothes for Sarah.. So just wanted to say a huuuuuuuge thank you!!! Was so kind of you xxxxxxx:T :T :T

You mean like this? When you post a reply you just highlight the ext you want to make into a link, click the earth with shades button (that's how I see it! supposed to be a chain link) and paste the link into the box that pops up.

    Yours and mine...and theirs...

It's why we're here, Oddjob. Now do you think you could disseminate this key information to the rest of your gender?:rotfl:

Most of Mrs OJ's freinds Husbands don't like me...

Maybe because I see marriage as an equal partnership and if something needs doing just get on with it.....I enjoy cooking and can create something out of nothing yet mrs oj limit is opening the packet.....but when it comes to bathing the little ones.....I would line them up on a wall and use the hose (apparantly this is not allowed)..

rach I just looked on Amazon, there is some lovely other ones too with more traditional nativity settings, DS2 wants this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/images/0811859207/sr=8-18/qid=1227374300/ref=dp_image_0/277-6716369-1783530?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books&qid=1227374300&sr=8-18 lol he seen the dog and that's it he wants it :rotfl: We have a material one made by DPs step mum (she's the one I like, unlike WIL!) when DS1 was a baby with little pockets, I just need to get something to fill them with. This ones cute but the domesticated cat and dog (well it looks that way) makes me curious http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/images/0735811628/sr=8-21/qid=1227374300/ref=dp_image_0/277-6716369-1783530?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books&qid=1227374300&sr=8-21

poohbear do shop around, you might be able to get things cheaper than on there. There is non profit shops within some care places, will drop you a PM in a mo about that.

Mr OJK you could teach some of the less desirable OHs a thing or 2 ;) your Mrs is lucky to have you. I can't see what's wrong with hosing them in the garden either, I do in the summer they even class it as fun then, but people say it's mean in the winter.........
