    Hi,

We have been with Payplan...(DMP) for the past 9 months, and so far no problems. You could give them a try, it was the best hour's work for me.

    Good luck..

  • Hi there,
    Well been good this week.
Spent £90 in supermarkets this week, my favourite is Farmfoods! So that's down from £225 to £90!
I also went and organised a debt management programme with PAYPLAN. Really nice to deal with.
I've one question that cropped up though, I forgot my ex is second cardholder on one of my credit card accounts, I destroyed the last card they sent in his name but forgot to get him removed from the account. So can that debt still be added to my DMP or would it be excluded? It's debt I build up myself, we split up 6 years ago and he'd never used the card from the begining.
Hope someone can help with that, it's preying on my mind.

If the Credit Agreement is in your name with your ex as the Authorized User then, regardless of who actually did the spending, the balance is your responsibility and should be included in your DMP.

  • Hi 'mylastfiver'
Thanks for that you've set my mind at rest.
  • :T Getting on well with PAYPLAN. Really feel incharge of my life.
Cut up all the plastic and never want to utter the word credit again in my life!
I'd recommend to anyone struggling with debt, to pick up the phone and get help, it won't get any better or go away!
Sticking to my shoping budget too, it's quite hard to adjust to but it feels good!
So thanks everyone for the help and friendship!
