If they are in a zipped folder you need to create a new folder called camera or summet in windows explorer in My Documents then unzip the files to that newly created folder.
Then do as I said back a bit..0 -
Hi Scooper, just dropped in to see how it was going. Hopefully Intel has sorted the problem. I did speak with my neighbour and they have a nightmare with their Fuji software. He uses explorer to find his photos, so no help there for you.
Another option would be to buy a card reader, something like this http://www.epcbuyer.com/products.asp?recnumber=2835 which is about £7 and just plugs into the USB port. You then take the card out of your camera and shove it in the cardreader. That way there is no need for specific software.0 -
hi windym
thanks for thinking of me
well i had some help last night from intel he gave me some remote assistance, but infortunatly none of it worked so im off now to go back to jessops as that is what it keeps telling me to do,i have had enough with trying now, what i might say to them is they should give me a card reader free of charge because of all the messing about, you never know do you, worth a try
well thanks again and hope its all sorted by tonight,i will let you knowappreciate what you have got x0 -

Hi Scooper
I did think you would have problems as I use my fuji via USB in windows explorer for image transfer,... try the USB lead in all different USB slots
just a thought as it could be a duff slot or a conflict somewhere..
Then turn on camera, dont forget to have USB selected on the camera aswell
if you have any probs knowing where that is is have a finepix E510 and the onboard camera instructions should be very similar.0 -
hi
went to jessops today and it isnt the camera he says its probably something to do with my windows, maybe i should remove xp and reinstall he said,it is microsofts problem not the camera,so i think i might just buy one of those card reader things,it seems alot simpler in my case doesnt it?
thank you all for all your help,my bf couldnt believe people on here help so much,so cheers!!appreciate what you have got x0
