I'll let pchelpman have a look over that, to my untrained eye I can't see anything that stands out as bad.0 -

Meep, anyone that can make sense of that deserves a medal!
And the winner is....pchelpman!
Just one thing meep, some windows downloads earlier (SP2 orientated) were just gonna start but they warned me to back up the computer. I pulled out with fear but then I guess I need the updates - what should I do?0 -
just do the updates, I'm not aware of any issues with the recent Widows updatesEx forum ambassador

Hi, Just done an edit of the latest log (and a start-up log).
Also, a couple of things. The PC seems to be running quite slow after some legnthy windows updates have updated me to SP2. Its slow to navigate from window to window, to open and close windows etc...Oh, the system is only 256mb of RAM.
Also, as part of the SP2 update I now have Microsoft security running alongside AVG and zone alarm - could these conflict?
Thanks again, Jordan.0 -
go into the security centre and turn off the windows firewall
Also go into zonealarm and turn off its basic email checking as you use AVG
I noticed a marked improvement in speed by going from Zonealarm to Sygate free on an old Widoes 98 machine, kerio is meant to be lighter on CPU usage than zonealarm as wellEx forum ambassador
