Just for safety - and before you delete anything - can you post the full address(es) of the locations you found with that bad file? We'd like to see exactly where they are.

Did you note my comment in red in my last post? Do you still own the money you thought you did? Is it all safe?

Finally please don't forget we need to see another HJT log to check through again. I have a feeling there is still stuff lurking around that you need to fix.

EDIT: hey, meep....remind me not to go get a cup of tea in the middle of writing a post. You beat me to it!!
  • Hi,

    C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs

haha, I know the feeling :P

tinterweb logs should be fine, you may also want to download ccleaner to remove lots of internet rubbish and temp files etc.
  • Should I search and delete the file mousehs.exe too???#

Also, when I Crt+Alt+Del and bring up the processes the above file and the csrdeu32.exe are not there. Is that an issue?

please delete the mousehs.exe file, and do a search for it also (as well as the other filenames listed on the page just to be sure), the above link is more useful than the other one I posted.

no it just means its not currently running, but its worth checking as sometimes when you go to delete it windows gives u a helpful message telling you it can't cause its running.

Call all your financial institutions to check on your money. Have you changed passwords etc. yet?

Should be OK to delete all those bad files - as meeps says - once you have found them all.

Don't forget we need to see another HJT log when you have done all that. Most important. We can't evaluate whether you are clean without it.

ALSO...when you post after all the fixing is done please let us know how your computer is behaving. All OK? Problems fixed so far as you know?

If you are still experiencing any lingering issues let us know exactly what they are.
  • Deleted the nasties, rebooted and called the bank the money is ok!!!! They are gonna freeze the online banking for a while tho...

Thanks guys , many thanks for your time

    Hi, can someone help me?

I have bought Fame Academy on the Pc for my daughter. I am running Windows ME (old I know) and thought I had all the system requirements but when we load the game it seems to work but the grapohics are dark and we cant see them. I have downloaded DirextX 9.0 but think it might be the graphic card. How do I check which 1 I have if any??

    Thanks for your help.
