You need a receipt - so do you think if i sent a copy of the paypal receipt some sellers send it would cover it?? will look into it! to get anything back from the council would be good - they havent taken my recyle bin from two weeks ago yet!! arrr and also i phoned to ask for a bigger bin and you have to have 6 people ina house to get the bigger bins......we fill ours ever two weeks now so need baby in reusable otherwise it will over flow!!lol

  • OK well i mucked up!! Arrrr and now im mad with myself.
I worked out how much was to be left in the account to cover everything, but i incuded payment that was going in tomorrow to help cover things and my car loan normaly comes out on the 20th so everything would be fine! But the car loan company tried on friday and i didnt have quiet the right amount inthere so it got refused!! ARRR It bugs me as i did have it in a different account....ohwell. Now i dont know what will happen, i might have to get dh to ring the company (in his name) and see if they will try again or if we can pay by card or something!! Also will have to see if i can get the charge reversed from abbey (I think they will do one every 6 mths so i really really hope they will...) Mucked up!! opps....... Have moved some money around in case they try again and there is more then enough and to cover the rest of the mths bills and then when tomorrows money comes in i will put it back in isa...should of done that in the first place!!!

For my tesco cc they still havent taken any interest payments!! which is good :) But they might realise and take it all at once......

Oh i cant believe i have mucked up the loan payment......hope it can all be sorted.....and with min charges.....

  • I know - atleast i will learn from my mistakes!!

DH has just gone a traded in some of his games for the PS3 that he no longer plays and got £58 for them! and he managed to get two pre owened games so hopefully they will keep him happy for a while!!!! they are games that he has been wanting for ages so hope thats it for a while and if he starts saying other games he wants i will tell him to ask his mum for a bday present!! And he has £20 on his reward card - that we knew he had a reward card but didnt know what the reward was :o so thats half towards the next game (after his bday...) stop him spending our money!!lol....he is a big kid when it comes to his PS3.

He has said he will cook dinner tonight (said that before going to game i bet as a creep incase he ended up spending some money towards the game!!but i will hold him to it!! :) ) so it leaves me to try and sort some more bits around the house/stay on the internet.....

I have loads of books listed on amazon now!! just have to wait for them to sell now....and list more things on ebay! I have also managed to sort loads of bits for the charity shop so the house is getting a little less cluttered!!

Yep easy mistake to make, blame baby brain!!

My first Valentines as a mummy was nice, except for the hangover after sharing wine with OH. (first drink in over a year!!)

  • Baby brain is well and truly blamed!! :p not to sure what they are going to do now as i cant phone them to find out and dh will prob take forever.......

Talking of dh he is a nightmare and seams to take one step forward and then 100 back!!lol. He has said about no longer having his money for the week so he isnt tempted on cigs and now 3 times he has said about spending it on this and that and the other!!! ITs gone now and he still keeps going on about wanting to put it towards something!! and today i noticed on the bank statement he has spent another £5 on the ps3 store - i know its not much but we havent got it in there and the game he got is rubish and a complete waste of money! When i said it to him today i said something and he put his foot in it about how he had taken some money from the shopping money!!
Guess i should just be happy he is trying to cut down on the cigeretts as that will save money in the long run.........

I really want to try and do a spending diary so he can see the little amounts spent on rubbish do add up....but i dont think he will sticke to it.....ill stop moaning now!!

Need to go and get my bloods done today and also go and get a present for a party dd1 has tomorrow (which i forgot about) but i really dont feel like doing anything......

Hey it all sounds great - good one on the making a cake thing, its so easy to just run in for something isnt it, but to make a wee cake is grand - I love the OS boards as well and have been just unbelievably helped by the boards here. Small things and all that, somewhere on the old style board there is a fab muffin basic recipe (it even works for me!!!) that you can add extra's too and its great with kids cos its not so fiddly as cakes can be, you just slop it altogether and somehow or other it always works!!

Goodluck with your diary - will keep looking in, ace on freezing the parsnips - clever old you. Funny thing is since finding this site, our bin bag has gone down by so much - I dont think we chuck anything away now (although our two freecycle chickens are v well fed!) and with what we recycle/reuse we have about one bin bag thats not full every fortnight (although I do have a fire - which takes care of all our paper) - so well done you on the little bits they do all add up.

ANd you know what, you will be looking for something lovely for lunch one day and the parsnips in the freezer will probably turn into a delicious soup!!

Pat yourself on the back and think of all those wonderful experiences that you are passing on to your little ones. xx Bet she will be stoked making a cake the one on the way is probably being conditioned in the womb!!x

OOOH do you think you could point me the way to the fail proof muffins. i always pop into greggs if out shopping and pick up 3 of their yummy muffins but at 79p its not very os so was just going to walk the other way, this way i can walk the other way and still have some yum muffins bet my dd would like some in lunch box too, shes only 22 bless her
