  • you should be taking it easy mummy!!!! what a list!!!! i am slowly working through my little list......... really need to ebay some more stuff as ds2 cannot yet get into his cot (using it as storage for my ebay stuff at the mo)

with your flapjacks, add some chopped sunflower and pumkin seeds.....bulks it out nicely and the kids will never know there are in there!!!!! adds more nutrients and makes it go slightly further.......

  • hello well i have done my meal plan so know what i need for the rest of the week! Need to get a few bits to make the meals but not to much!! Will go to the market and get some bits on thursday and have got tomorrows dinner out of the freezer already!!
Thanks for the tip rags on the sunflower seeds etc, i never have tried them before so might have to get some to try!! I didnt get to homebase in the end so will have to go tomorrow and also didnt get the cupboard under the stairs done!! Got a few bits sorted for ebay and will do some more tomorrow! Half of me doesnt even mind if they dont go for much i just want to clear some stuff from my house!!

    So tomorrow i will:
    * Do flylady list and my own daily house bits!
    * Do scratchcards and daily clicks!!
    * go to homebase and get the cheapest way to fix the light switch!!
    * Buy the few bits i need for dinners - might pop to tesco and be very good and not spend much!!
    * Get two bday presents for upcoming parties (if i start looking now i might be able to spot a bargain rather then the mad rush and just getting anything asap like i normally do!!)
    * Sort understairs cupboard (if i keep putting it i might do it!!)
    * Sort ebay/babys room
    * List some books on amazon....
    * do more from the washing and ironing pile!!!!
    * Phone the milk people about the direct debit (they took £30.30 out when normally its £24 and its only £2 a day when they deliver so dont even know how they could of got the 30p.......)

Chatted to dh about getting a 0% deal on a cc so i think he will aplly for one soon and it might help a little on the interest :)

I have done some more surveys today and kept a eye on the internet banking!

Anyway better be of - going to hang last lot of washing and go to bed i think as im sooo tired....

  • Hi - just checkin in, glad u have been enjoying the snow - its been as bad near me as where you are by the sounds of it - not nice driving 30 miles to work but did take DD out in the snow for the first time!!
  • hello smarties havent seen you on here in a little while - guess you have been busy with your new job - hope its going ok.
The snow has been lovely and the girls have loved it but today has been a nightmare as ive been slipping all over the place as the paths are now just thick ice!!!

I have been invited to a friend's hen do, i was best friends with at school but now we just chat now and again, she is getting married in the summer and i got a text today from her cousin who is organising her hen do - the text said 'we are looking at a dance and spa day followed by a meal and finishing at strawberry moons and we are getting a limo bus' OMG how much is that all going to cost!! i can not afford to go for the whole day spending that much. I dont even know where the strawberry moons is but i looked on the internet and its in london! How can i get out of it....or explain i would love to go but there is no way i can afford all of it..... might try and say i will come for the spa day then go home or something - Even going to London is going to cost me a fortune from where i live!! really dont know what to say or do..... now i know im going to worry about this and feel bad etc etc..... arrrrr any advice would be lovely...................

  • rags she said she was going to wait till today and see who replies then pick one person rather then first come first served! Well she put a notice out saying gone STC so i guess she picked some body else!! :( never mind - i was a bit conserned about getting second hand nappies anyway but was trying not to be snobby!!!:p

This morning i have been to the shops to get a few bits - to get to northampton i go country rds and on the way was a lady who had skidded on the ice and ended up in the ditch!! So i had to stop and help her for a while - she was ok just really shacky and crying but not hurt - lucky!
At the shops i got my friends new baby a lovely set of baby grows from next as a present - cant resist!!! He is so cute i saw him yesterday and sooo tiny! Its hard to think i will have a tiny one soon (I no ive done it before, but its still hard to imagine!!) I also got the free boots parenting club changing bag which i will use for the baby bits so they are in a seperate bag and all together for when baby decides to come!! Also got two packs of pampers on 2 for £6 and had a £1 of so worked out £2,50 a pack so thought that was good!

Also got the bit for the light in the bathroom!! So no more darkness!! :D (once dh has put it up....)

Got 50p on the scratch card today, and have done some daily clicks!

Anyway better be of and see what needs doing....
