  • I really really need to clear as much debt as possible asap!! my dad was round last night and was talking about the current situatin in this country (and everywhere else!!) and said something about the banks want people like you - who only spend little on cc then pay it back!! - i flt so bad and couldnt bing myself to say well actually we owe about £5500 to CC!!! my mum also think we are sensible and only have our car and kitchen on finance!! I feel so bad but just cant bring myself to say different! So i have had kind of second LBM and want to hit the debts even quicker - nt sure how but i will put every little thing into helping us save a little here and there which can go towards debt!! (if i say different then give me a kick!!)

    So today i am not doing much apart from keeping heting off (got to help with the bills!) and me and dd are going to toddlers (we dont have to pay as we run it!! So free tea and biscuits! :) ) and entertainment for dd. Then ill pick dd1 up and quick tea and she goes to rainbows (cost a £1) but i have had this hidden in purse for ages so it didnt get spent!! so not reaally needing to spend any money!

    I phoned Grolier to cancel all my accounts - they are all paid but they keep sending me things on 7 day trial which ofcourse i forget to send back:mad: so they have sid i wont get any more from them!

    I found the crib matress i want to order for £19.99 plus £3.99 postage instead of £35 and £4.95 postage from mothercare - no cashback but its loads cheaper so still worth it! Will order it on fri.

    We have seen tesco do cameras for quiet cheap so we are going to check them out first - might aswell get the clubcard points (im saving them for a trip to butlins!!)

    dinner tonight I am going to risk toad inthe hole (i say risk as i seem to be useless at doing yorkshire puds at the moe!!) The receipy is from the tesco mag and im also going to try there banana cupcakes - so will see how i get on!

    Better get going and do the washing up and make the cup cakes before toddlers!

  • the banana cupcakes are yummy!! if i do say so myself!! Only made 8 and 4 have gone already (2me and 2 for dd!) so im not sure they will last long....opps
    Also made some apple flapjacks so dd can take them to lunch! I put some sunflowr seeds in like rags surgested also put some chocolat drops on the top to help encorage the girls to eat them....Havent tried them yet.....

    Dont need to spend loads on premade cakes!! :)

    ETA: DD has asked for even more so she must like them aswell.... :) - now lets hope the dinner goes to plan....

    Yep well done on not going over, mine is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY over this month.
    Hope iron tablets work, I had them after I had Pip. Word of warning though make sure you keep your fibre intake high or you may be struggling, if you get my drift!!

  • Well its very tight going down to 77p!! been paid now so nice a high but still not in credit now the overdraft is soooo high!!
    I think the next couple of mths are going to be min payments only on the cc and if we do manage to make any extra payments then ill count that as a bonus! we have soo much we still need and with dh getting paid less in a few mths and also the charges im going to have to pay!!

    My midwife was going to come round to talk about a home birth but she has cancelled!! the one time im all organised - dh is of work (wasted day of now!!) and dd1 is being picked up from school and going to a friends for dinner! now im not sure when they will come but have said they will see if someone can come at the weekend so dh will be home! im 37 weeks on mon - so full term and i think i can have baby at home but as we dont know what we need we dont have anything ready!!

    Well as i now have a free afternoon as such i am going to go and do some housework etc - fun hey!! dh is home but is upstairs and really quiet and so is prob asleep!! Think he is the one having this baby not me!!

    hello, well today i think i should have a NSD as last night after the rainbow run my dd asked if we could have a 'treat' and i went a little over the top and spent £10 on junk!!! brought loads of cakes biscuits etc etc etc and some yummy coke of course!! so need to make up for it...:o

    DD wants to go to a club thats on tonight in our village - its free but they have a tuck shop so will need a little for that and thats all i plan to spend for the day!!

    Checked the bank account and still looks fine but i feel a bit bad as i havent done anykind of budget for this mth so not to sure how we are doing... put the quidco money into a seperate account and will do any extra money i get so i can still get it if we need it but will pay it of at end of mth if can....

    Well better go and sort some more baby bits out - really not getting far with this!! think im going to put a list of things i need to do for baby coming on here and i can keep track and maybe make sure i do some!!! so here it is...

    * Wash baby clothes
    * Wash bedding
    * Wash dressing gown and old bedding (to use for home birth then chuck if need be!!)
    * Order crib matress!!
    * Buy shower curtains and lamp for the hb!
    * PACK LABOUR BAG!!!
    * wash pushchaire and carseat (still havent done!)
    * wash the cozy toes bits for pushchaire

    ok thats it for now but it might get added to!!

    Better get of and do some bits!!
