What I did, in the post you helpfully provide a link to, was to highlight how predictable your posts had become. I did this for the benefit of those who get exhausted by your style of debate, which is basically to use battleship tactics.

You seem to have started using different tactics now, so perhaps my post worked in at least one sense?

I can assure you it wasn't a way for me to flutter my eyelids at you, but if it makes you feel better to think of it in that way, then knock yourself out.

    Just received an email....

Thank you for your recent Entertainment order from Tesco.com.

Unfortunately as you may already know, Entertainment UK Ltd (part of Woolworths PLC) have entered administration. Whilst Tesco.com is not part of this company, Entertainment UK Ltd was the main supplier of DVDs and CDs for Tesco Entertainment.

We are working hard to resolve our supply situation, however we are unable to fulfil a small proportion of our orders.

The following order(s) placed with Tesco Entertainment have been cancelled:

    ********

Please note that you have not been charged for any items in the order(s).

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind Regards,

    Tesco Customer Service

It's not a question of saving money to sacrifice my daughter's happiness! I cannot afford to pay more than I have, can I?! Also, if I save money there I can afford to get her other things too!

I am not needlessly moaning about anything, I came here for sensible consumer advice from people who are meant to be like-minded in saving money where/if they can. Instead I just get judged & have my posts picked apart quote by quote! Very helpfull & constructive-NOT!

Hugs - totally understand - I work to a strict budget for pressies, and if something is only within budget due to cashback/vouchers/offer etc, it's really hard to tell someone you can't buy them what they asked for because you can't afford it.
Haven't read to the end - hope you got the DS. Merry Xmas xx
:grin:If at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving isn't for you
