The internet-we shouldn't care TOO much.
Some people have it a a hobby, just because someone says something online doesn't meant they mean it

You're quite right of course. I was saying as much to Mrs uktim earlier. Oh damn!

Now hollydays, I have a personal question to ask you - are you enjoying a wee school-night drinky-winky while you do your posts?

er..a long winded way of saying what others have said..i was being kind-saying its the christmas month-as Martin says-christmas comes the same day every year-none of us are perfect though, but puleeze get organized a LOT earlier next year
uktim gone-uganda suddenly appeared?

What are you saying Holly??

Actually, I don't think mid-November is too bad to start buying kids' presents - kids being kids, what they wanted in August might not necessarily be the same thing once they have gone back to a new term in a new school year;)

Seems if you try to follow all the money saving advice you risk falling flat. I said earlier that if the gift is the burning toy that the child wants then I would just get it and cut back elsewhere. If the child is old enough to be ok with it then maybe take the risk of a new year delivery or getting it marked down in the sales - but that's a personal decision.

Or maybe we should all stop buying online tesco stuff (if you ever can find anything available anyway:rolleyes:) and force them to improve their service;):D

I thought mid November was plenty early enough too-HA! They change their minds so much before the big day, if you get stuff too early they end up with a load of stuff they don't want anymore!

I'm trying hard to become a money saver via this site, but everytime I try it all goes pear-shaped through no fault of my own!

What annoys me is that other people have posted on this site that they have ordered DS's from Tescos after I ordered mine & they've got theirs!

I'm all for boycoting Tescos online, but doubt Mr T would give a d@mn!

I'm usually pretty good at spotting them, so I'll honestly say I'm pretty sure you're well wide of the mark there holly' I've already said in another thread who I think his AE is.

Right, well good for you. Have you stopped baiting me and started flirting with me or something? Otherwise why would you devote a post simply to telling me where you are?

Also, I can't for the life of me think why Freddie Snowbits thanked you, but that's up to him, just seems strange that's all, how you fluttering your eyelids at me helps him in some way. Oh well, it takes all sorts I guess.

We're having great fun on the latest Tesco thread by the way, I'm surprised you haven't popped your head round the door to tell us how little we really know about it...

Heh.

What I keep coming back to in my mind, is how many (real) people would be so motivated to spend hours on a consumer website, simply to tell people to stop moaning, they have no rights, they must be mistaken or any other reason it can't be the retailers fault etc etc? I suspect all our 'favourite' posters may be down to very very few real people.

I'm just watching you dig yourself a little hole which you are very good at

I'll have to take your word for that as I cannot for the life of me imagine what you are going on about. But I'm glad you find it entertaining.
