I understand your anxiety - 10th is a bit late if something else goes wrong - especially if this is what your DD wants. Also, like you say - then you have to find the extras.

Dave - naughty boy, what will you say to her on the 10th when there are no DSs left anywhere? And you didn't factor in delivery time. Keep up;)

Personally, I'd look for another retailer even if it meant paying a bit more. Maybe go through a cashback site? Or cut back a bit on something else and explain to her; a good lesson as she will still get her toy but understand there's a 'pay-off'. Alternatively, look on ebay as there might be some bargains with games thrown in. I've just had a quick scan, there seem to be lots of accessories and ebay tends to be quicker than the Tesco. I've never managed to order anything from them yet - they always seem to be waiting for that item:rolleyes:

    Also, I'd ring the clubcard about your points - it's a free call. 0800 591 688

ps, don't take to heart what our resident grumpies have said - they do that to everyone on here.

Many thanks for your more understanding reply to my predicament!:D

Ebay was my first port of call, but with many of the sellers being from Hong Kong & the difference in voltage issues meaning buying more equipment to transform the voltage, it would mean more expense. Not to mention, a lot of the returns policies being rather a grey area which is always a worry with regard to electrical items. Also, most of the 'bargains' are second hand or without a box, not ideal for a present. So I decided to go with the cheapest offer with a reputable company..more fool me!

I'll tell her that she's still got 2 weeks to find something that is sold everywhere.

Not they're not. Amazon, Play.com have them in stock.

    They're only £10 more.

Clearly you seem more interested in saving yourself a couple of quid than making sure your DD is happy on Xmas day.

    "What do i do now"?

I don't see how there seems to be any debate about it.

Is there a value on your DD's happiness at xmas\?

There are no voltage issues as long as they come with a UK 3 pin charger DS's from anywhere in the world will work in the UK.
