Does anyone know if gift vouchers will be included?
Couldn't tell you 100% but highly unlikely as staff don't get discount on gift vouchers. Think its because you could get the discount twice, i.e. get 20% off the price of voucher then buy a product with 20% off as well.
Still, a great deal anyway considering you can get 3 for 2 on Christmas gifts then get 20% off as well!
At least the night will go quick for me when I am in work...I much prefer to be busy than quiet.0 -
Hi there, I ordered an item from M&S today (Weds) over the phone and got 20% off. The item I wanted is not available to buy in the Manchester store and not available to order so they checked and told me to ring Liverpool as they had plenty. I did this and was told there was 20% off and the postage was £3.50, so the item including the postage is actually £1.50 less than if I was to go in to the store to buy it.:T0

Finally found the link to the Oxfam/M&S voucher offer. It looks like it is still on:

You simply go to customer services with your bought item and your receipt and they just do the financial adjustment. I haven't done it for ages, but I know my Mum actually goes to customer services to get her receipts checked every time she's in after a massive shop.
How much is this going to cost M&S in adjustments I'm wondering.
The staff have told me that they are not allowed to do that or immediately re-sell an item that has been returned.0 -

Looks like M&S no longer do this then. It has been years since I've done/witnessed it. Understandable, but potentially sizist - if the item is in the sale but not in your size say. That doesn't sound lawful to me actually.:o I wonder if they would resell it to you if you proved that the item was now in the sale but your size was not on the shelf. Is this lawfully covered in size availability or not? Since you know there is one instore that you just returned! I'm talking hypothetically.:)0 -

It's worth checking your credit card. I think some have as a benefit that if you see the item has been reduced within a certain time, the credit card people will refund you the difference.0

Does anyone know if it includes furniture? I really like their Sonoma freestanding kitchen range and would love one of their kitchen island.0

I'm very interested in this as I bought a blouse last month for an event next month, lol. I haven't worn it yet and would definitely return it to re-purchase at 20% off!
The receipt says I have 90 days to return it. Has anyone had a problem returning unworn items with the tags still on if you've had it a month or so? Also, will they let me just get a refund and re-buy the same item, or should I get a refund and then pull another item off the rack to buy?
As long as you have your receipt and it is in saleble condition the ninty days stands. but if you think that you can take it back for a refund and repurchase the same item straight away, no chance. You will have to go on to the relavent department and hopefully get one from there.0
