Does anyone know yet whether this will be online as well?
ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
I have a family member working in simply food and they have been told about it too. Apparently the boxes of biscuits that retail for £5 (i think they were half price or something a few weeks ago, red, blue and green boxes) will be buy one get one free tomorrow too. Handy for a christmas gift for the teacher or just yourself

Is there any confirmation as to whether you can get the discount online?
I don't fancy the idea of dragging an 8 month old baby through the crowds but want a coat from M & S and 20% off makes a big difference to me!

Is this offer going to be available online or is it just in store?0

It appears that the news embargo has been lifted, and the Financial Times was the first to report it:
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/4759ee38-b5b2-11dd-ab71-0000779fd18c.html
Edit: Now in the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph also:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1087109/M-S-slashes-prices-20-cent-retailers-gear-bloody-Christmas-trade-war.html
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/epic/mks/3479433/Marks-and-Spencer-to-cut-20-per-cent-of-all-prices-on-Thursday.html
Typical Daily Mail, going for the shock horror story. Debenhams have done this every year for the last few years, M&S admittedly not for a few years, and BHS regularly do 20% off weekends as do a lot of stores, and not just this year.
Still, it makes the story better to exaggerate a little.
Whatever, it is all good for us the customer.0 -
I just found out about this via the email newsletter...
I spent £510 at M&S on Monday night :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Oh well. I guess you could say I was happy enough on Monday night and would continue to be so if I hadn't read the newsletter... still a bit of a bummer
