Satellite fee is nothing if you get rid of sky it is then a basic freeview box. AND YOU CAN HAVE BICCIES AT SW, they are synned, i will look the value up for you if you want?
Have you had a look at Martin's haggling technique for reducing contract phone?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I know I should give up the sky but our total ents expenditure for the month is only £37 pm which is for all of us (kids do stuff but it's paid for by grandparents & ex, great birthday & Christmas presents).LBM:FEB 2008

I know what you mean it is cheap entertainment. I thought that you were under the impression that you would have to buy a freeview box, so just posted to say that sky was one when you cancelled.Plus loads of channels on there still.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi rugbymum,
I think you could get your water bill down by at least half. You're paying £40 per month water rates, and I suspect it would be much cheaper for you to get a water meter instead. I pay about £13-15 per month (can't remember exactly without getting the bills out) for 3 of us.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)

I need to point you in the direction of post no5 re: the car usage. Not an option I'm afraid, unless I can find a "big" small car. I need to transport 4 & 5 people around, and we use it for our "free" camping "holidays"LBM:FEB 2008

These aren't rates, this IS water meter, and I wish I could make it cheaper, this is for 5 (7 when we are all here) of us. Two kids play footie & rugby twice a week each when they are well. I obviously do more laundry than you
I checked with anglian water and I'm already a "below average" user. ARGHHHHHHHLBM:FEB 2008

I would definitely see if there is any hospital transport or a charity that takes people to hospital.
Also I would post on the disability board with regards to the children's health - they may have some suggestions.
What's the relationship like with the specialist? can he help at all?
Have you been to CAB to see if they can help with the whole medical expenses thing?
Also would pop over to oldstyle and set them a big challenege - give them all the things your family can/can't eat and see what they come up with.
Good Luck

Bunny, sorry I just read your post correctly! I'm a bit worried about the changover, between selling old car, paying off loan and getting new car. Also will the "equity" that I have be enough to get us something big & reliable enough?LBM:FEB 2008
