Will definitely check out Bingoport then - I do a few consumer questionaires that get a bit of money, haven't been doing so many these days, need to get back up to speed on it all!!
I am so glad to see the back of those PDL's NEVER again - this time I'm 100% certain!
LT - so glad I don't have a car, I don't think I'd ever be able to budget MOT's and insurance into my finances - hope you survive until pay day ok!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
i'm sure i will, even though the squeaky mouse will remain in our lives for another month.
i'm pretty good with car costs cos i save monthly for things, but cos i'm closing one of my savings accounts i've brought the money back via my current account so it's making it look ok which will change when i pay out for the new insurance.0 -
Ok, so it's a bit of a nothing week, I've got to head out for friends birthday on the weekend for a meal, but have just asked my Dad to pick me up so will just have to pay cost of meal. And then I have decided to spend the rest of the weekend making a proper start on tidying my house... I really think this is important to sort my head/finances out long term, so going to make a start on it... been feeling really negative these last days, trying my hardest to remain positive though and to be honest the negativity is helping in a way as I'm not in the mood to socialise so more money saved!!
PDL's gone this monthThat's something to look forward to in a couple of weeks!!

yay the pdl's have gone!
Just a word of warning, be careful when you tidy the house, i damaged my wrist this weekend cleaning the cooker. Wouldn't want anyone else to suffer the same way0 -
good advice! I'll definitely be careful! I don't think I'll be tackling the cooker though, did it a couple of months back and it can stay at the back of queue for the moment!!! ha ha!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

heaven know's why i got carried away and decided to do mine, i blame Hypno and Taxi's talk of flylady and house work.
Just sorted out my car insurance so i know i'm facing a deficit of £200 next month, hope OH is able to transfer the larger of the two sums he normally puts into the shared account so i can cover most of this amount. guess it's just going to be a bit tight but i'm sure i'll be fine, just have to raid my savings. and NOT spend on the credit card for anything other than petrol next month.0 -
So went shopping again today... but not to buy, for inspiration to reuse outfits I already have

Yes just need to mend it and fix them so they're wearable again!! I've decided to set myself a challenge to wear all my clothes in the next year else ebay them though to get rid of some stuff... thinking of starting up a blog about it as well as motivation!
Almost Friday - I'm tidying all weekend except for Meal for friends birthday on Saturday Night and Sunday lunch at parents... really looking forward to getting started actually!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Well had a good weekend - spent enough really as was friends birthday, so had to pay for meal and taxi to get there - but Dad picked me up and got roast dinner at parents. Had good talk with parents about money and everythings good now so long as I stay on the straight and narrow, hoping to be able to give them some more money this month - if I ever get anymore work!? Probably best I haven't got any this week though as not feeling well at all! Made a big start on the tidying which needs to continue tonight, have friend round for dinner tmw but free week other then that so going to be a nice low spend week. Will double check balance and come back later today to update where I am with money
